Yep, I have no problem with fans feeling that way. And if there's one thing for sure, it's that Deron was pretty clueless about reaching out or altering fans' perception about all this.

I mean at a certain point, if he and his handlers were smarter about this kind of thing, they should have realised that sulking prolongedly was never going to work. I mean, you shouldn't have to be a Grant Hill going out on his shield for the Pistons in order to convince everyone that you're genuinely trying to bust your ass through an injury. Because in Grant's case he wrecked himself trying to prove a point, and that's too much to reasonably expect even for these multi-millionaires.

Maybe Derrick Rose would be a better example, I don't know.

But, yeah... Three Stooges, man. Three Stooges.
