Not really, they can still trade him to another team

Say all 3 of the teams really lowball the Wolves, and one of the non listed teams offers a decent package, Wolves would just trade him there

Obviously that team would know Jimmy probably isn't re-upping, but they might take the chance to convince him, like the Raps with Kawhi

No team is winning a championship with Jimmy Butler as the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd option on a contender.

I hope people aren't desperate to have Jimmy Butler on the roster simply because of Kyrie, when they will be better options next summer than the both of them.

This should be the pecking order in terms of interest:

Durant
Kawhi

Kyrie
Jimmy

You don't even waste your time looking at Jimmy Butler with Durant and Kawhi being free agents next summer for a 4th/5th option on a contender.
