Maybe he doesn't need to verbalize everything... He knows he's in TO this year. He knows the press conference will be the same old routine questions -- injury/future plans/role in TO, etc,, blah blah blah. I think he's the smart one.

Maybe he’s just shy, but I can see why people would be anxious to hear what he has to say.

People are excited about this team and to see him bail on the press conference is obviously frustrating

for me its fine how he is but i find it weird one of the complaints he had was about lack of endorsement dollars when a big part of that is personality and shmoozing.

cant really have it both ways but his Uncle seems to think so.

He seems like an introvert but I dont think he is antisocial if he can communicate with teammates and coaches.

Thats who he is. Nothing wrong with that. And if he is like this only to the media I understand why.

The media will try and twist anything you say and make you look like the bad guy. They are evil.

Who cares? I want a superstar on the court. I don't give a damn if he doesn't talk to reporters, or do the 30 second interviews at halftime and after the game. Let his performance on the court do all the talking.

because he's a child. and he was never meant to be in the spotlight. forget about Toronto, this guy couldnt handle San Antone (you cant even point it out on a map lol) . this will be a disaster
