My worst Manu memory was his buzzer beater after the Spurs came back from like 20 late in the 4th quarter in the Playoffs in San Antonio, back when our young dogs were learning how to be Champions.

Had he not hit that shot, we may had been in contention to go to a 5th Finals.

The Warriors fan in me that still feels for the fans of other beleaguered franchises is bummed for Minnesota fans. Was nice to see them finally pulling things together, and now they're coming undone already.

If Butler ends up in NY or Brooklyn, it might feed the rumors of him and Kyrie and KD teaming up in the Big Apple.

Kyrie and Butler both want to go somewhere where a team is built around them ... I doubt they want to do it together.

I never had faith in them due to their coach.

Yeah the Thibs hire was bad from the get. Never cared for his style.

Different agendas too though. The fact that we have strong chemistry is why we can have longevity.

I recall from last year's China trip, the Warriors landed in China and Warriors players were given an option to tour the city and sight see. The Wolves landed and Thibs took them to a practice facility.

Thibs is one of those coaches who should probably stay being an assistant coach. When he took the year off and traveled around and talked to coaches all over about their approach (including Kerr) I had hope that he'd have learned something. Apparently not.

There's no place for that old relic anymore. He's been awful.

I want the Lakers to finish 8th so bad. The mission for the Warriors in the next 4 years is to humiliate Lebron as much as possible while they fight for championships.

Why not hope they finish 10th and miss entirely?

Because I know it will burn Lebron's soul more if he gets swept by the Warriors in the first round.

Nah, screw that, would be better to see him just miss the payoffs every season in LA from now on.

Derozan can't close but he can't spread the floor either or defend, he basically does nothing in the clutch.

The Rockets are desperate to put together a championship team before Chris Paul's body breaks down. They have Harden locked up for a few years, but you can't buy back CP's youth, and Carmelo ain't gonna do anything useful for them.

None of those picks would be in the lottery. That last two, in 2023 or 2025 might be when the Rockets are in rebuild mode and so Morey would probably try to lottery-protect them.

So how is it a good deal for the Wolves?

I'd guess they'd want Gordon or PJ Tucker added to the deal.

Best thing about when the Lakers lose this season, it's the Lakers and Lebron. It's getting 2 presents at the same time. :)
