McD talking now on that stream.

Have to wonder if 'fit with Ayton' is code for we didn't want his attitude around Ayton or the other young guys.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Talking about TJ at the 4 with small ball then my stream cut off. I need to watch this back (hopefully you can replay it) because I keep getting interrupted at work.

Seems to be emphasis on TJ tweaking his shot and shooting better from 3 now. That would be huge for him considering it's really the only missing piece in his scoring repertoire.

Igor and McD both mentioned several times that TJ's stroke has improved. If true, it'll be hard to keep him off the court.

I think he may end up being more innovative than Gentry, and Gentry largely just went back to D'Antoni's schemes. However, I guess he was an assistant under Gentry in Phx and in his first asst coaching stint with the Clippers.

I wonder if he wears his Pistons championship ring around ever. Might provide some nice motivation.
