Another low stress 9th. Just how we want it. Kept pumping that curve tonight and they couldn't see it. Had no chance of doing anything with those, when they needed a homer. Jeffress' intensity makes him fun to watch and arguably has been the team's best reliever this year. Hader over-shadowed him due to usually being dominant, but Jeffress was more consistent.

Really shocked they swept the Cards in their house. Few had to expect that before the series. Now positions them well with a home series against a bad team on paper. Can't get complacent though. Wouldn't celebrate this too hard for that reason and since all it gets you in the end is a one-game play-in as of now.

It was especially thrilling since he formerly had anxiety issues. High pressure spots those were.

Pirates added a pair; 6-4 now. Not impossible they come back, especially with no legit closer for the Cubs.
