Conservative: a political or theological orientation advocating the preservation of the best in society and opposing radical changes.

Trumpism is Conservatism - therefore Trumpism supports the preservation of the best in society and opposes radical changes to the system. We know that isn't the case, Trump supports the worst practices in society and has made radical changes (immigration, taxation, environmental). So, your assertion is false and just plain silly.

If you said that Trump has hijacked the Republican party and no longer stand for conservative values - then okay.

It is like saying all Bernie is the new progressive. #neverBernies that think there are rational Ds are completely delusional. Equal bullpucky.

By your comments, you now advocate a single party system and believe we don't need checks and balances against the Ds?

Bolded is what I meant. There is no 'conservative' representation in politics anymore in the most literal sense. Trumpism is what you can vote for or against.

Kanye's the same idiot who said slavery was a choice. Whenever he speeks, that comment overrules everything else he says. Btw, his performances last night sucked.

And she was such a big help to Hillary last election. I think the Dems need to do better. Being the most abrasive Dem candidate won't make her the best.

soooooo......you got nothing?...Again? Is the logic from the left is so distraught and devoid of any kind of consistency. Just your so-called "facts" filled with hypocrisy that dont seem to matter cuz none of it make any kind of sense? Please explain to us the love or the wisdom or this particular prism of logic that thoroughly explains this political perversion of justice and "vision" defined by weak liberal leftism...it Seems so scion, just another twisted schism where "let's get greedy" mental prison systems so corrupt of intelligent ideas that is misses any and all wisdom. Here's a hint. Think outside of your liberal box and the answers become very apparent. Crystal clear for one and all. like it should have been all along. We never should have torn down those stalls. Nor accepted uncorroborated accusations of one Kavanaugh. But we did so shall it be. The uncertain future where anyone's truth runs so wild and so free.

Pandora's box is now open.    And I'm game. America, Let's do this!!!

So called lefties all Rothschild bought
Ask 'em a question they say "All Trump fault"
Please explain to us the love or the wisdom
or the birth of this particular logic prism
or the political perversion of justice and "vision"
defined by the weak lefty liberal schism?
Never saw the Duke John Wayne in Chisholm
Seems ju jitsu twisted in the schism
where the "let's get greedy" mental prison
so corrupt that it's missing a bit of wisdom.
Here's a hint, think outside the liberal box
if you want to undo the very paradox.
Start getting stright up dope from Fox
Gotta put down the bagels and lox
Crystal clear for one and all to see.
like it has been all along for for me.
So-called "facts" filled with hypocrisy
Anyone's truth runs wild and so free.
If we want to forstall America's fall
We never should have torn down bathroom stalls.
Instead we need to start building border walls
And nominating many more Kavanaughs.

It's hard to tell what was more embarrassing - Kanye alienating his fan base with his pathetic political shaming or his "musical" performance last night that looked like it came from the mind of a 5 year old.

To be honest, I hope Kanye keeps it up.

If that's how he genuinely feels, don't sugarcoat a thing. Say what's on his mind.

And then we can all judge him accordingly.

Ruzious wrote:If I'm going to be 100% honest about this, I probably don't reject Cavanaugh on the basis of sexual assault. I reject him for 2 other reasons. One are his comments and lack thereof when questioned on human rights. Two is the way he testified - not just yesterday - but before when asked about his drinking - the disrespect was completely unacceptable for SC Justice candidate. And yesterday was a complete disqualification - that was unbelievable for a SC Justice candidate. And if I may say... what a f'n pussy. And I didn't even address the fact that he's lied under oath several times. That would be reason #3 to disqualify him.

I don't think his nomination should have gotten to this point. Before the allegations from Dr. Ford and now others there were serious questions about his honesty and openness.

If the allegations were an isolated incident, I think he could have survived them with an honest approach.

He could have admitted heavy drinking as a youth, and admitted he may have treated women inappropriately. One thing on his side is it would have been a misdemeanor at the time. I think the Republicans could have held their nose(the 2 or 3 who actually care) and voted for his nomination.

What makes that approach untenable is it seems the drinking behavior(at least) has continued for years.

I have no idea what Kanye actually believes, but I do very much suspect he's doing whatever it takes to stay relevant in the media for marketing purposes to prolong his career. That picture of him wearing both a MAGA hat and a Kaepernick shirt makes him basically another Trump equivalent. I'm not convinced Trump believes everything he's spouting either (he believes enough of it that it doesn't matter, and even if he doesn't his particular ends don't justify the means in this case) but he does what he does because he benefits from it and doesn't really care what others think, knowing that enough people will disagree and not pay attention to specifics. Kanye is pretty much the same.

I wonder how much money was sunk into all that rebranding of NAFTA in order to get basically the same deal...
