Meh, don't give them much credit. It's flukey.

The best thing they could do with Becky is keep her heel.

She needs new music!! This upbeat theme isn't cutting it for her character.

Kobe Bryant was asked who he feels is the toughest opponent to guard in the NBA. Instead of picking OKC's Kevin Durant, Bryant went with Portland’s Brandon Roy.

I'm assuming Becky won the title so that face Charlotte can heroically win it back from her in the near future to a cascade of boos, Reigns style.

I think they want Becky as champ come survivor Series since it will be Raw vs SD, and they want to save Charlotte vs Rousey for WM

Would be up for Charlotte being traded for Sasha Banks to be honest.

My guess would be they get to Charlotte vs Ronda by having Charlotte win the women's Royal Rumble

Re: WWE SmackDown Discussion II
I don't hate that actually. Not that the street profits should be the next guys getting called up or anything but strictly speaking on the fit of these 5 guys it's a good match. I'm open to the new day doing anything else as they are well passed overdue and since they seem reluctant to both break up and be broken up, I suppose adding makes sense

Now THAT looks more like The Nation of Domination. I'm all for expanding the group as long as there is direction for main event and not adding characters for comedic purposes.

There seems like a big talent difference between Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, imo. I could see Ford and Kofi having a good rivalry - emphasizing their athleticism and age differences.
Ford is a super athlete. I don't know what Dawkins provides besides being the clear Marty of the team. I guess all teams do need a Marty.

Re: WWE SmackDown Discussion II
I don't really have a problem with it. I think pairing up guys who need some work with New Day would be a fantastic idea in general, though, as all three guys are quality workers and great on the mic. I always thought they should have added Crews to New Day when he got called up too early, because the main things Crews needed were more experience on the mic and a more defined character, both of which New Day could have helped him with immensely.

Not saying this is a reason or more than mere coincidence, but Becky is in Marine 6 which is being released in November. Naomi won her title around the time Marine 5 came out too.
That said, Becky is also an objectively good mic worker, which is what they usually want out of their heels, and they seem to have concluded that the Carmella experiment as top heel has failed as they have stopped mentioning her wins over Charlotte and Asuka now on their broadcasts and try to now pretend it never happened.

The real shame is that they sacrificed Asuka to that talentless hack to begin with.

No thanks, the Street Profits are pretty good on their own, have a nice gimmick. Also don't want to ruin the balance in the New Day.

Her two big sacrifices this year were all for naught. Charlotte didn't get any more over (in fact the backlash against her intensified after WM34) and Carmella has been downgraded again.

Yeah, Charlotte going over her made no sense because Charlotte was the one woman on the roster who didn't need that win.

Charlotte going over her made alot of sense to me. I didn't see it the other way.

Re: WWE SmackDown Discussion II
Well Charlotte got booed hard. They need to turn her heel at Evolution (maybe she loses and just attacks Becky with a chair). When the fans are that clear, go with the flow (though Vince is so stubborn he'd swim against a rip anyway).
