I’m pretty sure if glen was willing to pay jimmy there would be no issues. Kat and Wiggins probably don’t “love” jimmy but don’t hate him. I’m sure all of us can relate to that by having a colleague you dislike or don’t always get along with.
Doesn’t mean you just stop going to work or ask for that person to be fired.
If we weren't willing to supermax Jimmy when his contract expired we shouldn't have traded for him in the first place. If that is the case I despise Taylor. It seems that all the problems with the Wolves can be traced back to Taylor and people are trying to make Scapegoats out of Thibs and Butler.
The injury near the end of the season may have scared him(Taylor). Everyone got mad at Butler for the request, but it's only been reported it's about money, so if money is the issue and Butler wants out, that basically means what I've been saying since the news broke, Butler or his agent has a huge indication of what Taylor is willing to offer. Think of it this way, Butler has transformed this team into a playoff team, he's highly disappointed with Wiggins and his effort towards winning, it's got to be a huge slap in the face to have an indication that the owner is only willing to pay you somewhere in the ballpark he gave to Wiggins without him doing anything but scoring 23 a night, not good defense, not good rebounding, absolutely no play making for others.
From what I've seen in just 2 years from Taylor lets me know why this franchise hasn't been good. It absolutely sucks to have a bad owner because you know something stupid is just around the corner. My god, you don't use a consultant company to hire a coach/POBO, understand he believes in winning, hire that coach/POBO and then not let him make the moves for his style.
Come on people... Taylor went to the media to let everyone know he had a max for Wiggins to sign and then waited nearly 2 months for Wiggins to finally sign it. This year Taylor tells other owners/GMs to come to him with a good offer. At this point, you gotta get someone in the FO/Coach who can manipulate the owner to doing the right thing, Thibs isn't like that, he's pretty straight forward.
