Who will be the starting C this year?
What is your prediction for rotation minutes, stats, etc?

Zeller is the starter, easily. Doubt Willy will be the backup along with Frank. Don't see Biyombo playing hardly any unless injuries occur.

Zeller clear starter while healthy with Willy as strong backup. Frank is slip sliding to #5 overall big if MKG is now in rotation as a 4.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I'm in a deep fantasy league and was looking at Zeller in games he started 2 and 3 years ago. His numbers seemed to be really inconsistent. Any good reasons for that? He seems like a solid player.

cody, but will be 3 or 4-way split depending on fouls/matchups. Bet cody only plays 24 or so a night. cody's numbers based on game flow. we don't run plays for him so night2night variance is great.

Zeller basically does whatever he is asked. He doesn't demand the ball so some nights he may not score much. With the newer fast paced offense, I actually think the center position will be used less since that takes time to set up. With that said, I don't think he'd be a good fantasy player unless your league is super deep. What type of players are you considering besides him?

I will probably try to add a couple of guards that contribute in multi stats but I need pts, assists, steals, and blocks, and then one C who gets boards and blocks and hopefully scores.

I can't imagine Zeller will be a good fantasy option unless you are in a ridiculously deep league. He doesn't get many steals or blocks, and he doesn't pad stats on the boards or score a lot.

Well, I hope no Suns fans venture here, but here is my team right now... viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1745990#p68519747

I am solid on FG% and FT% so can afford a bad FT shooter. If Favors comes back around I might take him...and then I was looking at Zeller and Poeltl who may start for the Spurs, but unsure about them...I'd probably only take either one of them with my last pick...I might take Favors earlier.
So we are pretty deep into this draft.
Tough decision. What about Alex Len? I'm not sure what type of minutes he's going to get for ATL but tonight he started in the preseason and got 8 rebounds, 4 blocks in 14 minutes. If I was thinking of somebody on the Hornets, I'd probably go Miles Bridges before Zeller.

Yeah, I saw that...had been surprised to see him taken in our other league as early as he was. I kind of like Len. I didn't think he was going to start. He is definitely good with boards and blocks.

Zeller is the exact opposite of Dwight, gets crap stats but really helps his team.

Re: Who will be the starting C this year?
Zeller is the obvious starter.
The bigger question is who our backup C is going to be. I feel like Willy and Biz should be switching off depending on the matchup (Biz is definitely needed against the stronger bigs) but Frank is probably going to get minutes there too. It's really crowded. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing given Zeller's injury history but it feels like we have wasted talent that we could be using elsewhere.

I'd say;
Kemba (34), Parker (14)
Lamb (24), Monk (18)
Batum (28), Bridges (20)
Williams (24), MKG (20)
Zeller (28), Willy (16), Kaminsky (14)
or something along those lines, maybe Graham gets some in case of injury

Re: Who will be the starting C this year?
I think it's extremely unlikely that both Willy and Frank are in the rotation, and that they play roughly the same number of minutes.

I cant for the life of my under stand why we traded for Biz...he is getting paid a ton to ride the bench

Meh, to me he is useful in particular situations and prevents us from having to take a D league flyer in the event of injury. Yeah he's expensive, but that can become a trade chip down the line. Would it have been better to buyout Dwight? Probably, but I'm guessing we don't know the whole story there so I'm not going to throw darts at that.
