Yes, he posts tweets from select black conservatives...and thats okay.

My issue is the motivation behind him posting those tweets.

SD20 only started his Candace Owens/Larry Elder barrage when Trump was getting those negative headlines for comments like these:

What is this economic SOURing that you speak of?

Is it the "reverse trickle-down economics" that Trump has helped to accelerate?

I would like to see the details of the new NAFTA deal, but it is important to give Trump props on those rare occasions where he actually accomplishes something for the country. :usa:

Not surprising seeing deplorables latch on to that coonery.

its called USMCA. or Musca or Uscam :D

but its the exact same deal as the deal with mexico. 75% of parts made here in north america instead of china. old number was 62%. all employees must earn at least $16 per hour. etc etc. The deal with mexico was applauded by the right and the left shut up about it. which means its a good thing and the left does not want to give trump a victory left.

WizKev on the Kavanaigh hearing...good ish:

https://kevinbroom.com/2018/10/01/why-brett-kavanaugh-doesnt-belong-on-the-supreme-court/

WHY BRETT KAVANAUGH DOESN’T BELONG ON THE SUPREME COURT

Brett Kavanaugh doesn’t belong on the Supreme Court because he’s dishonest and unable to use his considerable legal education and experience to form a logical, coherent defense strategy. In addition, his performative, self-pitying rage before the Senate Judiciary Committee revealed him to be a conspiratorial partisan, which undercuts any notion that he can be a fair-minded adjudicator of the cases that come before him.

It’s indisputable that Kavanaugh lied repeatedly in his testimony to the Senate. At Current Affairs, Nathan J. Robinson wrote an 11,000-word article dedicated to refuting an array of Kavanaugh assertions with facts.

As Robinson wrote, when viewing the testimony of Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford “honestly, impartially, and carefully” it’s clear that:

Kavanaugh is lying.
There’s no reason to believe Blasey Ford is lying.
Now, that Kavanaugh drank too much (and underage) 35 years ago doesn’t matter very much today. His dishonesty is happening right now in real time, and that is important because it undermines his credibility as a judge. I’m not going to recreate Robinson’s article here. Read it for yourself and you’ll see a sober-minded dissection of Kavanaugh’s lies, misdirection, and use of performative anger to blunt Democratic questioning.

Robinson’s excellent article missed one Kavanaugh whopper: his assertion that he got to Yale Law School “without any connections” by “busting his tail.” In fact, Kavanaugh was a legacy student because his grandfather attended Yale as an undergraduate.

Kavanaugh’s blatant dishonesty ought to be disqualifying, but I’m also bothered by something else: how inane his defense has been. He’s supposed to be an elite legal thinker — one of the top legal minds the country has to offer. But what he’s offered in his defense has been:

A calendar
A letter signed by 65 women, some of whom later retracted their support
The lack of corroboration of Ford’s story
Irrelevant and misleading assertions about his career and the nature of federal background checks
Misleading and false claims about his high school behavior in general, and his drinking in particular.
Evading direct questions.
Self-pitying indignation.
I understand the difficulty in attempting to prove a negative. But, there’s a difference between asserting innocence, and accusing Senate Democrats of a “well-orchestrated political hit.” (It’s sorta interesting to note that while defending himself from an accusation made without supporting evidence, Kavanaugh makes an accusation without supporting evidence.)

The point, however, is how flimsy and dishonest Kavanaugh’s arguments are on his own behalf. Imagine a similar accusation made against Antonin Scalia, for example. While I think Scalia was wrong about a great many things, there’s no doubt in my mind that he would have made a forceful, logically coherent, and legally sound case in defending himself. There is no chance he’d have offered up a calendar and tried to claim that because he didn’t have this particular underage drinking party penciled in, it could not have happened. (Side note: Robinson points out that such an event actually IS in Kavanaugh’s calendar, including the names of two of the boys Ford remembers being at the gathering where she was sexually assaulted.)

As a public relations professional with some experience in crisis communications, one thing is particularly striking: how easy it would be to construct a response that used existing facts, avoided telling obvious lies, and would likely have Kavanaugh already confirmed an on his way to the Supreme Court.

What we know from multiple descriptions from people who knew Kavanaugh, and from Kavanaugh’s own contemporaneous accounts that he was a binge drinker who got belligerent and aggressive when he was drunk. He’d already be on the Supreme Court if when Ford’s allegations were made public he emerged with a statement in which he:

Admitted to binge drinking in high school and college
Admitted that he sometimes drank so much that he could not remember what he’d done the night before
Acknowledged it was possible that during one of these blackout episodes, he did exactly what Ford has claimed
Apologized to Ford and anyone else he may have hurt when he was drunk and out of control, and
Asserted that his life of service to America is demonstration that while he’s personally ashamed of his excessive drinking and out of control behavior, he doesn’t live that way anymore.
He could even toss in a sixth point about how he’ll work with an appropriate organization to address the dangers of drinking alcohol underage and to excess, but I don’t think that would have been necessary. Those five points above would not have satisfied many on the left. He’d be acknowledging it was possible he’d committed sexual assault without admitting it.

That statement would likely have headed off the second round of hearings and the FBI investigation. It would have given Republicans cover to mutter platitudes about how youthful indiscretions shouldn’t disqualify someone from important office, and a majority of voters would probably have agreed. In the end, the strategy I describe would have likely resulted in Kavanaugh being confirmed on a mostly party-line vote (although I think it’s possible he could have picked up the support of a few red-state Democrats).

It’s almost inconceivable that no one on Kavanaugh’s team or in the GOP proposed this strategy. It has the advantage of being the easiest path, in part because it’s a good fit with things the public already knows about Kavanaugh.

Instead, Kavanaugh and the GOP decided to construct their defense on lies and bluster. They may be able to bully Kavanaugh through the system and onto the Supreme Court. But his nomination and the confirmation process lays bare the fundamental dishonesty and abuse of power that lies at the heart of today’s Republican party.

Whether or not Kavanaugh assaulted Ford, he doesn’t belong on the Supreme Court because he’s revealed himself as entitled, dishonest, partisan, and unable to think clearly under pressure.

I trust my local african-american police officers. MY local african-american fire fighters and my local african-american teachers, principles and superintendents. Let me just put this out there now: many former police chiefs and many chicago public school principles and superintendents have been my patients. I own multiple practices and one of them is near beverly hills chicago. I trust them! I trust what they tell me. And it is very similar to the writings and teachings of larry elder, Thomas sewell, Clearance Thomas, candace owens and now kanye West.

police and fire in chicago starting salary is around $58K and leaps to $73K in year 2. By year 10 they all make over 90K many of them make over 105K. Many of my patients are lifelong cops and teachers earning well over $140K and have wives or husbands who also earn 70K or more. Often duel income teachers. Or duel income police officers.

Ive got 15,000 patients from this socio-economic group. yeah. i'd say they are affluent later in life. And hard working middle class at the beginning. But retain working class values as they age. I'd also say that their families are likely not as successful as they are. Like me, i'm guessing they too have family that is not doing to well. The amount of neices and nephews that live with my police officers and are dependents ontheir insurance is stagering. So they are in tune with the needs of those less fortunate. And still, they all support Donald trump. Like 90% or more of police. 70% more of fire. and about 55% of teachers. I'm not joking! The news is on all day long at my offices and thats all we do is talk politics. I know what they think.

In terms of demoncrat rahm emmanual, they nearly all hate rahm. hate his politics and policies. 90% disapproval. And while no one trashes obama...no one praises him either. besides those who have no clue what is going in our african american neighborhoods. <--which btw is the exact opposite of the police, fire and local teachers. They all know EXACTLY what is going on in their beats, their schools, and in the very neighborhoods they live. City of chicago employees are forced to live within city limits. My patients are the most educated and knowledgeable people that live in chicago in terms of what is really happening and why in urban black and hispanic neighborhoods. They know what is going on and they know how to stop it.

I mean you just dont understand how plugged in I am into the south side of chicago. espeically far south englewood, south shore, beverly, Chatham, wash heights, roseland, pullman, hedgewisch, etc. THIS IS MY HOOD!!!! I own multiple businesses in these hoods. Build multiple homes. own dozens of multi-unit dwellings and have tons of patients that live here. I AM AN EXPERT in this hood. I grew up here. I became a man here. I learned how to play basketball on these local courts etc etc etc etc. I rode my bike through these dangerous streets as a child and took the CTA all over this place. I shop here. I've lived here. My family is sprinkled all over these neighborhoods. Of my 25,000 total patient 20,000 strictly come from these hoods. As i said, 15,000 of which are city of chicago employees. My offices have been here for almost 20 years. Sorry bud. I know my people intimately. I have been to over 1000 weddings, over 1000 graduation parties. earlier this summer, on one weekend i went to over 30 graduation parties. over 10 per day. It was exhausting. But the parents insisted I come!! Because maybe one day 10 years ago...mom brought in her child to one of my offices and had no money and no dental insurance and we did the work anyway. Maybe a child flew off of his bicycle and knocked out 4 teeth and broke his jaw. Maybe it was just a bunch of cavities...I did the work. I did it for free. I asked for nothing. And they love me for it!! Do you know what its like to be the guest of honor at a graduation party? How about 30 parties in one weekend!! Of course you have no clue. Because you never lifted a finger to help someone. Thats not me. I help. Because i care. Because i love people and i love to help them help themselves. Over time i have built a massive referral program. I know the local business that are hiring and I know the kids willing to work because they are my patients. I know when a grandma needs her grass cut and i send a kid over to cut her grass. She pays them. They make money. and I get nothing...just my good name and my honor...and invites to hundreds of wedding each year. and hundreds of graduation parties every year.

You wish people liked you that much!!! And I'm the exact same person there as i am here. My message doesn't change. And my advice serves my community well. they benefit when they listen to me. and i benefit when i listen to them.

And dont be surprised if you see me pop up with Kanye and Chance doing things for the community in the not too distant future. Unlike you (and ruzious, and gtn) who wont be doing a damn thing but begging for someone else to do the work for you!!

I wouldn't give Kanye fans that much credit. WHo is really still a fan of that clown, he is one of the most unbearable people in the world IMO, been for years, I dont care at all he is Trump supporter. But now Trumpers are fans of his and saying with a straight face he is smarter than all of us, freaking Kanye West, terrible, just terirble artist EGO maniac guy who says he would be key figure in the modern day bible?
Are Trumpers so desperate they grasp on him as their voice or something? This is just pathetic. I think Owens is just terrible from all these posts SD post, I cant believe grown man can agree and proudly post her takes, but at least she doesn't have years of history of acting like a moron, like Kanye West does. Owens at least has credibility, even tho I disagree with her on most things from what I have seen, but thats beside the point.

Credibility, based on what exactly?

All she's done is put a black face on conservative talking points whilst managing to say them with conviction.

Not an ounce of original thought, doesn't advance any coherent arguments to support any of the gibberish she's is spewing and she consistently manages to contradict the positions she is taking.

How could anybody with an ounce of intellectual honesty reconcile calling out Chelsea Handler for questioning her 'blackness' in one train of thought, then belittle Colin Kaepernick's activism by pointing out that he's of mixed race?

She's had impeccable timing seizing the minority vacuum of the Trumptard movement, a credible free thinker she's not.

I agree, I guess I just wanted to say she is at least not Kanye West. If someone came up and say they look up to Owens, I would think, wow we have nothing in common, but at least I wouldnt crack a smile. But when freaking Kanye West is your political hero, its just laughable. Its literally a joke. Can you imagine anti-Trump people being that desperate? Justin Bieber comes out as strong anti Trump person, left wing news - hes a hero!

Personally, I dont even think Trump is the worst. At least he is not religious bigot like Pence. Trump supporters seem to be actually worse than Trump himself at this point. It might be the fact that as Trump supporters, they are obligated to watch Fox news, and they get their facts from there. Might be the reason why they adore people like Owens and have ridiculous takes? I dont know.
