Time zones factor in of course. Certainly games in Los Angels or Colorado would have the late slot. So Thursday game in Milwaukee will definitely be the first game, second game in LA. On Friday it will be games in Milwaukee, LA, Boston and Houston. It's on 2 networks and I think they try to avoid overlap but there is always some. LA would be the latest game. Boston would be prime time, especially if it's against the Yanks. Milwaukee and Houston would be afternoon IMO.
I can't imagine they wait until Wednesday night to give out the schedule, the NL at least should be known tonight.

I think the networks actually prefer back-to-back to keep the viewer on the same channel. Last year the Friday slate was
MLBN/FS1
MLBN/FS1
TBS
TBS
They put games in Boston and New York early in the day and had games in DC and LA at night.
I think as long as they're fine with playing a game in LA at 1 Pacific, they're going Milwaukee/LA/Boston/Houston.

Well I'll eat a little crow. Boston/Cleveland is noon on Friday so it looks like we'll probably get 3 PM.

Houston is also a huge market. You can bet a Colorado/Milwaukee series would be the earliest game possible each day.
Do the networks have a say in that? Cynically speaking I would assume so but I thought I read that it was preset every year with the leagues taking turns on who has the early games.
$
Yes...money symbol. Hence my" assume so" comment.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.
Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Guess it's a good thing I work from home with a TV in my office.
