I wouldnt look too far into that idea.
Every time any slightly big name comes up as a FA or wanting a trade, the media, specially ESPN, runs with the idea that they want to be in NY or LA. Even if the player just mentioned liking a sandwich shop in Brooklyn, they will turn this into "he wants to go to the knicks".

But he seems to be open to going to any team that is taking winning seriously and can pay him.

He won't shut up, and wow.

You can't learn about life if you're the only player on the team... You're the only player on the team and nobody is just as good as you, nobody has that experience or that thought process of how you're thinking as a ball player.

He really is legitimately dumb. Nice dig at Russ btw. And all of his former teammates for that matter.

When Durant left and won a championship with golden state, many people, myself included, said that not all championships are created equal. I stand by that. If he joined George and russ and they won it all, it’s would be bittersweet to me.

Not to me, Russ deserves one. And to be clear it would be Russ's, not Durant's That said, I think it's pretty clear Durant has no interest in coming back.

I don't think Russ will ever be able to trust KD anymore. Recruiting him to come back would also be kind of pathetic, IMO. I don't think Russ wants any part of KD.

Who could have predicted he would try to help his image by attaching himself to another persons success? Love this guy.

He's all about Seattle now. It's just a coincidence that he's doing it in a very public way. I swear!

he's always been sonics and seattle positive but you couldn't express that while a thunder player. remember what happened to nick collison?

seattle is planning an expensive renovation of key arena to an extent that many feel will be compliant with nba arena demands, but that doesn't mean the nba will listen. support from non-PNW players has been sparse, so this is a nice show of support from kd that imo should be taken for what it is. the 'very public way' coincided with kd playing a game in seattle (rare) and the current circumstances surrounding the key arena renovation.

Yes, I heard he went on vacation and was never heard from again in 2011. Rumor is Presti had him killed.
