Caboclo was a first round pick by the Toronto Raptors in 2014.

So this is for camp and a possible 2-way deal?

I hope that he works out better than Europe's Tracy McGrady...although that guy was turned into Luis Scola, so that was good.

he's 6'9' tall with 7'7" wingspan
he can match up with Durant length

A player who is signed to a contract with an Exhibit 10 will receive a bonus up to $50,000 if he signs a contract with the team's G League affiliate upon being waived from the parent club.

However, there is a catch. A player waived by Oct. 17 must report to his G League affiliate by Oct. 20 and remain there for at least 60 days to receive the bonus (in addition to the G League salary). Unlike last season, when a team would incur a salary-cap hit for players with partially guaranteed money who were eventually waived at the end of training camp, an NBA team will not have a cap charge for the bonus money awarded.

A player signed with an Exhibit 10 can also be converted to a two-way contract by the first day of the regular season. The bonus would then be rescinded and the two-way contract would apply.

Honestly, if Bruno becomes half as good as Spanoulis was, I would call that a miracle, and call pope to claim and note this holly event. Not an NBA player.

No. 2 way players must have no more than three years experience. Morey just took advantage of the fact that exhibit 10 contracts can be given to anyone (for some reason) and can carry a $50k guarantee that doesn't count against the tax. So basically Bruno gets 50k guaranteed that isn't taxed for the rockets, whole if this where a regular deal it would be

Indeed. We rostered Bruno for as long as we could. Please enjoy this exciting still undeveloped prospect, he is so incredibly long and his wingspan is amazing. He still needs an nba paycheck to provide for his family. The Toronto Raptors organization has done their best for Bruno, but felt it was time to move on. Hopefully you are tantalized by his natural potential and wingspan and allow this fine young man a spot on your 15 man nba roster. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I'm sure he's working on his 3 point and fadeaway shots and is becoming a respectable defensive player. You are doing god's work. Good day.

Been only catching up with highlights now, but I'm seriously impressed with how much he's progressed in his big man skills. Before he had absolutely none; didn't box out for example, but he's developed some technique there. And his handles are infinitely better.
