He was running around without issue the very next day.

Keeping him out for the remainder of the game was a complete overreaction by the team. But given the season he had last year and the fact that this is just pre-season, overreacting to every whisper of an injury is the right decision.

Isaac getting injured worries me. This particular “injury” does not.

Isaac talked about how much stronger his ankles are now than before. Made me feel a little bit better about it. Made it sound like he could’ve kept playing if it wasn’t preseason.

Really enjoyed listening to Braian Angola Rhodes story.

Being even on an exhibit 10 contract is a big deal for people. Never look down on it.

As someone that wastes far too much of his time watching this team play after the season is lost and the game threads have shrunk down to a few pages, I can tell you that Vuc doesn't go. He takes the path of least resistance as often as he can. That's something that you can probably abide if you are winning games, but it is intolerable when you are entrenched at the bottom of the standings.

We could say that about every single player on this team multiple times every single game.

You like to troll but this may be the realest thing you posted on this board.

We will keep playing wack-a-mole and zeroing in on one, only to have another thing pop up once we dealt with that. We will wack them all eventually. I guess.
Common knowledge but good post.

I don’t get why people are so bothered by the idea of playing Bamba at the four.
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?

The league plays small and we keep trying to play big. Just another example of Orlando being too stupid to get out of the 90s. Also 2 of our 3 most important players both are primarily 4s and having the 3rd practicing at the 4 is a redundant waste of time. We drafted Bamba to replace Vuc not be his backcourt partner.

What 4 in the East do you think Bamba can't guard?
I think he could guard AG decently, and he's about as athletic as 4s get.
He's long enough to play off anyone and recover out to the 3 point line.
Plus, He can shoot over anyone who has to guard him.

Our team sucks for ages. People complain.

We try something new in PRACTICE. People complain.

... go figure.

It's not a question of Bamba being able to guard 4s when we have 2 natural 4's, Gordon and Isaac, to defend against 4s. There is no point in wasting his minutes where he is not needed. Bamba's minutes need to be at center because that is where he will be playing full time when Vucevic is gone. Bamba's minutes need to be 100% committed to anchoring the paint for our defense. Why bother keeping him defending on the perimeter at the same time we have a human turnstile lumbering around in the paint?

Again, it's just surprising to me that the first lineup wrinkle attempted is a 2-center lineup as opposed to Isaac at the 5.

I feel like I've been waiting for a small ball lineup since the Ibaka trade, but the Magic continue to bend and break to make these "big" lineups to accommodate Vucevic.
