Just thinking something similar....Jackson is 0-5 from 3 and 1-11 overall. While you should take open 3s, you need to feel confident taking them or you are going to miss them. People still need to stick with TJ because he will score or cut and score. They will simply stop guarding you if you launch and miss 3s.

The notion "he will improve his 3 because he is willing to take them in games" is very bad because there are guys that take way too many 3s when they should not...Westbrook even being one of them.

I do not know where is the problem about knowing your limitations.

I prefer that than shooting the ball with a bad percentage.

He couldn't net us that after they did what they did..Fox is their guy..he is their face right now pretty much. Not that I'd really want him anyway.

Funny thing is Warren is almost always productive, at least offensively, and even when other guys can't hit the broadside of the barn and Warren hasn't missed a shot and has 2 assists in 7 minutes when they say he never passes, and also a steal in those 7 minutes, they complain about TJ on twitter. It's hilarious.

I understand what he is not good at, but he's still one of the best players on the team, that isn't just necessarily a role player (3D or spot up 3 guy).

I mean if JJ dont shoot it, who will? Ariza and Anderson have been passing instead of trying to create some kind of offense. Same for Cannon. Chandler really doesnt do anything on offense. Its between JJ and Warren to try to score.

Ive also notice that the defenders are noticing this trend and have been collapsing on JJ when he reaches 20-25 feet. They dont have to really worry about our other players (Besides Ayton who they triple team).
