Hey dumbass why don't you go jerk off to some Intercept articles instead of providing another irrelevant talking point. My criticism of Manchin is that he needlessly **** himself and the Democrats hopes for the Senate for nothing. He was up in the polls and Collins already confirmed Kavanaugh there was no need to vote in favour.

Your simple binary mind can't comprehend that while having Joe Manchin is 100x better than having a Republican this idiotic move by him will actually lose him his seat.

Ahh I kinda missed you guys. Lol.

Happy to see no one has yet been vaccinated for rabies.

I have no idea who you are.

He’s some guy who said a bunch of condescending and completely 100% wrong stuff about the 2016 election and then disappeared for a while when it all blew up in his face

So someone in the Nate/Popper mode? I wouldn't insult him anyone by comparing them to STD but TGW is closing ground.

He’s more of a traditional libertarian who also reads The Intercept and worships Glenn Greenwald. One of his big things was that Russia simply didn’t interfere in the 2016 election at all and Wikileaks is a nonpartisan transparency advocacy group.

More importantly he totally supports Trump but is real coy about it and pretends the damn libs make him do it.

How close am I Induveca?

I'm more surprised at how Joe **** Manchin decided to torpedo his campaign like an idiot. I knew Republicans would push him through because they're trash.

They're referring to Induveca.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Media was reporting that Manchin would go whichever way Collins did. Apparently he would have voted no if Collins did but we will never really know. Anyways, might as well count his seat as an independent and the democrats need to capture more seats but also agree that a republican in his place would be worse (ACA would be gutted right now)

The title, "Obnoxious Liberals," is clearly meant to be ironic in this sequential triptych montage.

A black man chained beneath, "Asbestos, Asbestos, Asbestos, Samson," illustrates the emasculating "haircut" forced on urban blacks segregated into substandard housing by the slumlord Trump. The red left leg connects the like segregation of indigenous people of the Americas, and the red in the next segment connects this historical oppression with the ongoing conflict between Native American gaming interests and Trump's crime-ridden involvement in the expansion of East Coast gambling.

Next to the chained black man is a zombie-like man in a stovepipe hat, with a golf club and a message saying, "Not for Sale," furthering the connection between president Lincoln, who freed slaves not to be equals in America but to kill a rebellion that hurt his financial backers' interests, and a white nationalist Trump, who made a career of shutting black people out of his properties and, like Lincoln, only talks to black celebrities.

Finally, a cowboy wearing a ten-gallon camel toe hat and boxer shorts, emblazoned in dollar signs, represents the repressed feminine sexuality rechannelled as greed and violence among the rural and middle American uber-faux-machismo who latch onto and find some sort of positive actualization in conservative braggadocio. Somehow, Trump makes fat white people who eat at Denny's feel strong, sexy and virile.

Basquiat was hitting the same places that Trump was in the 80s, clubs, galleries, etc., Basquiat there to sell paintings, Trump there to feel sexy and virile. Basquiat saw the "Obnoxious Liberal" Trump as the subject of his political commentary, Trump not yet perceiving that Basquiat was a black celebrity worth posing with, and more interested in using Trump Foundation money to buy paintings of himself.

While I understand Manchin's thinking behind confirming Kavanaugh I actually think that voting yes worked against him. Maybe in normal times it might work in his favor but in hyperpartisan times no. I have a hard time believing that Republicans are going to stop being so partisan, no matter how much Manchin tries to align to Trump he will never hump Trump like his Republican opponent. When has Democrats appealing to the Republicans ever worked in getting votes? Kavanaugh is enough of an unhinged **** for Manchin to have voted no and pointed to his willingness to confirm Gorsuch. And either way REPUBLICANS would have gotten Kavanaugh. All Joe Manchin managed to do is give a middle finger to sexual assault survivors and piss off women. I'm willing to bet money that he actually loses he lead in the polls because his base will lose enthusiasm. If he can't stand for something then voters Democrat, Independent or Republican have no reason to respect him.

Like I said, I read this thread for amusement. It stopped being a serious forum for mature debate and discussion when you and gtn joined. That’s ok though. I’ve learned a lot about the intolerance of the left from you guys. Carry on.

He says this without a hint of irony while regularly co-signing STD and Nate. Listen Popper I'm always up for political debate and open to listening to multiple sides. But if you misinform or spread outright lies you will get called out. And if you spread conspiracy theories you will be called an idiot. So feel free to post more.
