On one hand, **** the Yankees. On the other...I am a HARDCORE Oakland/Raiders fan(i'll follow them regardless where they are,

since I live in London, ON) & needless to say *most* Raiders fans HATE THAT F8DXKJSADLFKJ09I******* dirt infield when were

playing football on Sundays at home in OaCo. So I kind of want the A's to lose... Heh

Crazy NL wild card game. Rockies should pobably have 2 runs if it wasn't for the ball disappearing in the ivy for a ground rule double.

Very happy for the Rockies.

Interesting. Players that Jays traded away this season are all on teams that are still alive in the post-season:

Happ - Yankees
Oh - Rockies
Axford - Dodgers (although not on roster)
Osuna - Houston
Granderson - Brewers
Donaldson :( - Indians

Also Jaime Garcia was picked up by the Cubs who were in the WC game. Even more interesting, Liam Hendricks gets the start tonight in the WC game. Hendricks was traded for Chavez back in 2015. Chavez was picked up by the Cubs this season and he pitched in the WC game last night.

Some other former Jays also still playing. Pearce, Edwin, Melky, Thames, Jeffress. Am sure I'm missing a few others.

Is there a particular reason the A's are starting Hendriks ?

I just read he started 8 games this year, didn't know they were doing the bullpen starting thing as well. He was DFA'd June 25th.

Slightly unusual choice even for a bullpen game, as it's predicated on having a guy specifically chosen for the top of the order. Yankees are righty-heavy, but Hendriks has reverse splits and is relatively low on the list of guys I'd want out there.

Oh man I forgot about Pearce (on the list of guys traded this year). But yeah, damn, all those other former Jays of the past too. Not sure if that's normal but I guess it is...baseball is a game of journeymen
