Pretty sure it's for the interim 165 lb belt!

So I just watched an interview with Woodly and he was pretty funny in it and came off as a pretty cool guy. Made me start to like him a lot more...

Then I went to YouTube and listened to I’ll beat yo azz...I’m conflicted again.

That track is so bad lol.

Woodly is a good guy.

It's a shame that UFC want's him to lose every fight.

Yeah he brings out the race card too often but there's still no denying that he's the best in that division (except for GSP)

Question, didn't Jones' record used to be 24-0-1 now it's 24-1-0
Was that always the case? I thought his DQ wasn't considered a loss

Eddie Alveraz signs with ONE. Wow.
That’s surprising but I’m guessing it’s a big pay day.

Khabib's Uncle is saying Khabib has turned down a rematch with Conor and wants to fight Tony then retire.

That’s lunacy if he thinks it cements him as the best ever at 155. Someone will surpass him quickly. For now it might cause that’s the line division without a dominant champion in it.

His list of notable wins is RDA, Conor, and Michael Johnson and Barbosa

That’s not a great list. He needs Tony and a few others or someone will come in a year or two and starch that list

UFC 232 has Jon Jones vs. Gus and Cyborg vs. Nunes. Can they get more people who have failed multiple drug tests on this card?

Cormier is fighting Derrick Lewis at UFC 230, so maybe they could get Brock Lesnar to fight Josh Barnett?

Maybe he wants to move on with his life?

Also, the idea of retiring kind of gives his fights an aura around them. The constant speculation if it's going to be his last fight ever kinda makes sense.

If that’s the case I applaud it, cause I think most fighters should think that way.
But there’s a lot of Goat talk surrounding his camp and I believe the article states that he believes a win over Ferguson makes him the Goat 155 ever and would retire.

I agree with the aura thing as well. It’s also a great negotiating tactic as you can’t be backed into a corner.

I hope he doesn’t retire because he has a shot at becoming an all time great and as of now I just don’t think he’s got the heads on his mantle to withstand the test of time
