It depends on how much potential they see in Patton. Crabbe is expiring and 2nd round pick is always good to have. They can wait till deadline, but they still have expirings in Carroll, Dudley. They can still trade them for something.

Patton with his three injuries in his first year of professional basketball is most likely never going to play any real minutes in the NBA. I wish that weren't true, but I think it is.

Why do you think they're trying to trick you into taking them for Butler? As of right now, they're caught in treadmil hell. Nobody should help Riley shed those horrible contracts like that.

Exactly. And neither were Magic and Kareem, or Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman. As long as they play well together and don't hate each other, it's not a big concern.

Ricky, Zach, Wiggins, and KAT were great friends.... on objectively terrible teams.

Phil Jackson was there for MJ and Rodman and both of them only played on the court, Rodman wouldn't even be in the locker room a lot of the time.

PJax was also there for Kobe and Shaq. Thibs is heavens away from PJax.

Magic and Kareems relationship only turned sour at the end of their tenure together. Butler and KAT lasted barely a season.

Butler and KAT was a winning combination.

If the offer was Richardson, Olynyk and FRP for Butler I would have thought long and hard about it. I hear the offer was Richardson, Waiters and FRP. I wouldn't have thought about that one for more than a second.

I would not have done the Waiters trade. I would have done the other trade as long as Gorgui could be moved with that Miami pick.

What's sad is you can't hardly give away Gorgui. He a better player than that.

I've been saying this all along. They don't have the assets to acquire Jimmy Butler and if they do, it will leave their cupboard bare. They have a bunch of over overpriced veterans on bad contracts, and what they do have of value is not enough to make it work under the CBA.

I find it interesting that every NBA interview I've heard on ESPN and on NBA Sirius from former NBA players and people in the know, are saying they Jimmy Butler is not the type of talent you just let go for pennies on the dollar, but everywhere on social media it's being spun that the Wolves are asking for too much. That lets me know that it's just Jimmy's agent and GM's tossing crap out there to try and drive the price down.

It already did work out. I'm hopeful it will work out again. I really don't care if they like each other. I care about the talent and they are extremely talented.

Shaq and Kobe clashed. I'm dating myself, but Kareem and Magic clashed also. That's what happens when you have 2 Alphas in the same room. There's no way around it but to just deal with it. Neither one will compromise winning and that's all that matters.

Mmmm. A fired reporter makes a lot of sense. I was wondering how he got a reputable guy like Bobby Marks on his podcast, but expects us to believe his "reporting", even though it conflicts directly with what Woj, Shams and Marc Stein are all saying. I assume Marks agreed to be on his podcast without looking into his background too much.

His name is Ethan Skolnick, google him. Idk how he got Marks on, but i started following this story the other day. He has a whole network, and they are going against everything Woj, Shams, Stein are saying which is nuts. He’s crazy

Is this the Howard Cossell poster?

Oh and he was supposed to leave this sight until Jan.
