Apparently Butler's interview with ESPN is gonna have the same setting and interviewer that did LeBron's interview when he announced he was signing with the Heat in "The Decision".

You can't make this stuff up.

I'm glad Butler went the F8ck off on Layden and Thibs. Maybe now Thibs will stop with his delusions of somehow getting Butler to want to stay with him (and help him save his job) and actually try to work on deals.

I know there are a lot of people saying that Thibs wasn't making deals for the betterment of the team, I call BS. This is about Thibs trying his best to set an environment to get the locker room full of vets that will back him and post the best record in an effort to be a pseudo "interview" for his next potential job once Taylor cuts ties. We all know he never wanted to deal Butler and was stalling with every little bit of power he had in an effort get Butler to change his mind (proven by the countless mentions off Thibs sitting down with Butler and asking him to come back, every. damn. time. they. met.)

This sh8tshow needs to end, and it won't until Taylor bites the bullet and moves on from Thibs and Layden. This is an irreparable mess and it just needs to end. And this is just the incident to beat that notion through everyone's skull.

If a man walked into the gym and started talking trash, the other best player would step up, but there’s no word of that.

All that’s being reported is Jimmy dominated practice with his nuts hanging out

I wish I could +1 this 1000000x

Jimmy dragged his shlong across the practice facility and if it’s true that he smoked the first and second team with the third that means Kat Wiggins and the rest of the roster just stood around and watched like fans. Which further establishes how important he is with this team and how immature Wiggins and Kat are as players.

Yeah, because Jimmy came in at 22 and dominated.
He should be able to dominate at 30 yrs old.
Help the kids grow, what does he do, yell and throw tantrums. Yeah...real mature.

It will sure be an entertaining interview (whether good or bad). More excited for the interview tonight than I am for season opener.

I doubt Jimmy would have the cajones to pull off a stunt like this at 22/23 lets be real!

He wants to make it clear to Thibs that he will be a problem if he stays.
I think he is a real immature and egoistic character.
If these things that we read about yelling to Scott Layden are true the situation gets funny.

If he wants a trade, why would he pick the 3rd stringers and then dominate the first team? Shouldn't he have tanked and played poorly and lost so that Minnesota feels the pressure to trade him?

Can he stay in the team if he disrespects Scott Layden and his teammates?
I really don't know what is going on with this situation.
But I assume he pushes for a trade with the bad behavior
In a movie, this is gonna end with Butler, Wiggins, Tows and Thibs crying and hugging each other and Butler staying in Minnesota.

Jimmy is choosing to be an **** to try to force the trade. What a child. Or should I say baby.

He didn’t have the talent either. He couldn’t get off the end of Thibs bench until he was 23.5

Jimmy was also never a #1 pick that got coddled by his team since day 1, he had to fight and scrap for his playing time. Biggest issue going back to Flip is handing everything to Wiggins on a silver platter.

Putting too much pressure on those kids. They should just sit back and let the grown folks duke this out

OH BOOHOO for Jimmy. Still, maturity is how you handle it, and he's acting like a big P*ssy if you ask me. He had $110 mil in hand and turned it down. Spreewell anyone?

That's 100%! I played in high school and college and if a guy got hot and starting talking smack, we took it personal and shutting him down was a priority, by any means necessary. The NBA is a grown man's league and too many of these kids are playing friendly games of basketball. If they didn't go back at Jimmy, then they are soft just like he said and all their behinds need to be traded.

You don't win championships by being nice. If you have to snatch somebody's heart out of their chest for the win, then you'd better be prepared to do it.

He is a legit top 15 player not a washed up Spree. He should turn down $110 mil, that is just being smart. I do agree he shouldn't act like a clown but it is sad that nobody in that locker room wants to put him in his place. Today says all that needs to be said about KAT and Wiggins.
