Butler has requested a trade, the saga continues

The other thread is soon to be locked. (100 pages)
This needs it's own IMHO.

He's back with the team and going off.
I am not sure this is the best for everyone. He says they can't win without him, and while it is somewhat true, he's still seems like the selfish player he is, and not a very likeable teammate.

It's almost insane, but maybe he just needs to vent. I think there had to be some kind of explosion getting everything out in the open before things could get worked out.

Adrian Wojnarowski: At one point in a scrimmage, sources said, Butler turned to GM Scott Layden and screamed, “You (bleeping) need me. You can’t win without me.” Butler left teammates and coaches largely speechless. He dominated the gym in every way. Jimmy’s back. – via Twitter wojespn

I wonder how Thibs feels about that. They can't win with Thibs?

So does this mean he's staying, or does he still want out.

I don't know what to think to be honest.

I have the feeling...our players are super soft.
Jimmy got angrier and angrier about it and that's what caused the rift.

If Butler dominated with the second unit, the brightside is we have a better second unit.

This just might be the best season ever from an entertainment standpoint!!!!!

Teague is cool with him.

The real problem is...our two "stars" are too soft for Jimmy...and Jimmy is furious about it.

I am guessing this is sarcasm from the other 199 pages.

But it begs the question.....Has he changed his mind? Did Thibs plan work to keep Jimmy? Will he still want out?

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. I may be fired if this doesn't end. :banghead:

That rat Pat Riley put him up to this. He poisoned his mind and soul. This is not the Jimmy we know and love. Rat Piley.

Why does this sound like a guy pissed off about a franchise taking care of 2 younger players and he's heard he's not going to be taken care of next year?

So Wolves have just had the best practice? Thibs has seen with his eyes what it would be, KAT and Wiggins seen how they should be. Why everybody is upset? I guess no one has doubts now.

It is. The pure entertainment value of this is better than an NBA Finals.

We should definitely help this cancer out by buying him out.

Well KAT and Wiggins have right to be upset with their performances for getting beat by the 3rd string team including an outcast.

I prefer them to keep silence and respond later with their game. We have enough voices and opinions.

Actually, I love what Jimmy did.
He showed some balls, went to practice and destroyed everyone.

If KAT and Wiggins had some competitive fire in them in an area other than video games...they would go back at him to destroy him in the next practice...

Well I did not say they should be upset about Jimmy. Just upset with their own performance. You can be upset in silence, too.
