This is right in line with his tweets on draft night.

This is right in line with his tweets on draft night.Well at least we know one thing, Woj won't be getting sources from Minny's front office from now on.
They probably don't give him any which is why he is leaning so heavily on Butler. His hit pieces on LeBron used to be savage.

Yeah, I don't see how anybody would be energized by one of your best players demanding a trade, then returning to practice to sh*t all over your other two best players and the GM. If anything, that would be hugely demoralizing.

It's important to remember Kobe's acting would have been better in the Rachel Nichols interview. Jimmy was worse than Hulk Hogan acting status.

Yep. I’ve thought so for a while. Now the day is here. We’ll see if Pelagic pulls the trigger.
Noah is the perfect filler between McGee and Zubac. Great vocal leader and defender.
Dump Lance. He’s a ball stopper. Only knows iso. Buh-bye. I’ve seen enough.

Comparing his 4/$45 to what Randle got, pretty interesting.

It's crazy how the situation of teams, the situation of the market, and to a lesser extent general perception of a player can make such a difference for two players in the same offseason
Larry was basically in the most favorable situation for him to maximize his earnings, while Randle was in the least favorable situation for his.
Larry is on a team that has capspace plan and needs to retain talent by any means possible. Randle was in a team for whom every dollar mattered, not just this year, but even next year. Nance was in a team that lost a huge talent in the front court. Randle's team gained a huge talent for the front court. Randle was a free agent this year, a very terrible market compared to years passed to be a free agent. Nance's unique situation allowed him to avoid free agency all together. Randle's question marks and the Lakers situation led to him not being offered an extension all together last summer, and the incorrect perception of him as a bad fit in the modern game lead to no one trading anything of value for him, while Nance's reputation made him more desirable (of course along with his contract situation).
But either way, here we are; Two players that were on the lakers last year and played the same position. One has pretty much reached his potential and hasn't majorly improved during his time in the league, and he is older. The other has been showing improvements and has far more potential to really become a star in this league. We got a late first and facilitated a huge salary trade in the deal for the worse player/prospect. We got absolutely nothing for the better player/prosopect. Both guys are gone from LA to seemingly worse basketball/living situations. One will have great financial security for the next four years while making more money than the other this year.
It's crazy how screwed Randle got and how fortunate Nance got...and this is coming from someone who isn't overly upset about losing Randle, and who was a huge fan of Nance. I'm just pointing out the unbelievable difference in their luck/fortunate.
But I should say.....I'm very, very, happy for Nance. If he wasn't traded last year, he was looking below MLE money at best next summer, and we certainly wouldn't have extended him. He's such a great guy, and he deserves it...just kinda feel bad for Julius.

Nance gets insanely underrated as a defender. He was third in the league in DRPM among PFs last year, just slightly behind Draymond Green and Anthony Davis. The Cavs knew what they were doing .
