If a man walked into the gym and started talking trash, the other best player would step up, but there’s no word of that.

All that’s being reported is Jimmy dominated practice with his nuts hanging out

I wish I could +1 this 1000000x

Jimmy dragged his shlong across the practice facility and if it’s true that he smoked the first and second team with the third that means Kat Wiggins and the rest of the roster just stood around and watched like fans. Which further establishes how important he is with this team and how immature Wiggins and Kat are as players.

Yeah, because Jimmy came in at 22 and dominated.
He should be able to dominate at 30 yrs old.
Help the kids grow, what does he do, yell and throw tantrums. Yeah...real mature.

It’s so clear to me half your problems as fans are you never played sports.

If a foreigner (currently jimmy) comes into your house and dominates you your supposed to fight back competitively. What’s it say about Kat and Wiggins if together with the other 3 current starters they couldn’t beat jimmy in a game of pick up win 4 2 way contract guys.

It basically means what we already see every single game. They have very little competitiveness in them. Not fight Jimmy physically you buffoon.

That's 100%! I played in high school and college and if a guy got hot and starting talking smack, we took it personal and shutting him down was a priority, by any means necessary. The NBA is a grown man's league and too many of these kids are playing friendly games of basketball. If they didn't go back at Jimmy, then they are soft just like he said and all their behinds need to be traded.

You don't win championships by being nice. If you have to snatch somebody's heart out of their chest for the win, then you'd better be prepared to do it.

Spoken like a true athlete .... not someone with no sports experience. You guys want this franchise to be excellent being led by Kat and Wiggins. Two guys who ARENT COMPEITTIVE!!!! Today confirms that. Kat is supposed to post jimmy up and tell him go back home. Wiggins is supposed to dunk on jimmy. Not lose to jimmy with 4 guys fresh out of college on 2 way contracts

Not an easy task for a bigman to do if his starting PG:

a) can't pass
b) Jimmys best buddy

Wtf does keep silent do? Whatever.... I don’t care either way. If you want jimmy gone maybe you’ll get your wish and realize how wrong you are after watching 5 years of no playoffs while being led by two heartless players.

You think embiid would let jimmy do this
You think Giannis would let jimmy do this
You think ben Simmons would let jimmy do this
You think Tatum would let jimmy do this
You think Donovan Mitchell would let jimmy do this
You think Devin booker would let jimmy do this

NO GODDAMN PLAYER WORTH A DAMN THAT CONSIDERS THEM SELF A STAR would let jimmy march all over their chest..... I’m sorry but if you think Kat and Wiggins are correct in letting jimmy dominate them in practice. Then you deserve a losing franchise. Competitiveness doesn’t require a loud mouth. It just requires heart and the willingness to compete, ugly truths that everyone question about Kat and Wiggins but there’s no tangible measure to prove it. But if you were on the fence, today proves it. And if you don’t believe it now, then you’ll forever be rooting for losers.

This had nothing to do with a friendly challenge. Butler came in there to show his ass, and probably interepting the pratcie. This is a company issue right now. Let Butler and management deal with it.

I would love to play with a guy like Jimmy, but that's just me - maybe because I'm very competitive and have a bold personality too.

Company issue my ass...

Tell me a great player currently or past that would just sit around and watch jimmy cook them?

Shaq? Kobe? Kg? Tmac? Paul pierce? Allen Iverson? wade? Ray Allen? Lebron? cp3? KD? Steph? Kyrie? Russ Westbrook? Paul george? Harden? Kawhi? Derozan? Can you name a good player that would just ALLOW jimmy to dominate them on a basketball court?

Man!, by all accounts the Detroit Pistons of 89 and 90 should have never won championships. Their guards were short (Thomas and Dumars), the front court starters did not have an athletic bone in their bodies (Dantley, Aguire, Mahorn, Laimbeer). The 6th man was short and puggy (Vinnie Johnson). The backup forwards were gangly an awkward (Rodman and Salley). Nothing about that team said championship other than they would fight you for every possession. Heart is going to win you more games that ability on most nights, I promise you.

I understand you. You would not probably beat Jimmy dominate practice. But I am glad that KAT, Wiggins are not you.

P.S. From your list I think no player would try to respond Jimmy in similar way. There is a coach and GM to manage such mess. But we don't have such man.

It’s incredible to watch you deflect and cape for two players who today were confirmed as heartless. It doesn’t really matter cause none of us are GMs but you’re flat out wrong in this situation. Whether or not people +1 you or disagree with you. The only people who go far in sports are ones with the heart to fight.

Yes sure, maybe this is the best way to treat bad behaviors, to be smart enough and behave in the right way.
Personally, when I was at the age of Wiggins and Towns I was not smart enough in those kind of situations with bad behaviors. Maybe they treat the things better but I see the things different

KAT and Wiggins aren't little kids. If they didn't fight back it's only because they have no heart. Jimmy was battling Deng in practice when he was 22. Boozer said dude is a beast.

Hey heat fan, do you remember our roster that worked out together before Butler got here which included the same Wiggins/Towns? Probably not. Where was Jeff Teague this summer? He wasnt on the team? From the sounds of it Gibson worked out with Butler, doesnt sound like much of a leader to me, doesnt sound like somebody who his teammates even want on the team.

See we had chemistry, our players worked out together and liked each other, then Thibs and Butler came. So I am anxious to rid our team of him even for the scraps you can offer. I will laugh at whatever franchise trades assets to sign this guy long term.
Are you mad at me or Teague?

Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk

Im not mad at either of you, Teague wasnt here for any of that either. Who was he working out with? What teammates did he call up to work out with? Butler/Teague/Gibson are supposed to be the veteran leaders brought in and he didnt do anything to help what he is bitching about.

Don't assume the response has to be verbal. Some of the best responses is a hard foul. If a guys gets going, sometimes the goal is just to get him out of his rhythm. A couple of hard picks, a smack across the arms as he's driving to the bucket, even grabbing his jersey and frustrating him. You don't have to engage him verbally to challenge him, but at least get him thinking about his game so he shuts up.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
