Missed most of the game till now. Why is the lineup closing out the game Wall, Beal Rivers, Green, Morris?? Is Otto hurt or just not playing?

F’ing laughable. Look at Satos production in 16 minutes compared to Rivers in 30.

This team is going to be real bad.

A 102-97 final. I know you won't see a Kieff/Green frontcourt often but with Dwight out and Mahinmi fouling everybody going up against Drummond and Blake, I guess it worked out though I'm sure Otto would normally get those minutes. Not seeing it with Rivers playing 30 and Sato playing 16 minutes. Makes no sense. Wall playing 32 minutes in a preseason game means Brooks will play him 38-40 in the regular season. He just can't help himself.

Wow, look at the boxscore, & you see absolutely every bad thing you fear for this team:

1. Mahinmi has 5 fouls, 0 boards, & 2 turnovers in 12 minutes.
2. Porter gets only 6 shots.
3. John Wall takes more shots than any other 2 players combined (no: Beal/Morris combine to tie him in attempts -- no other combo of 2 is even close. In fact no 3 of the remaining players combined to tie Wall! Wow.)
4. Rivers gets 30 minutes, plays badly, & gets the call to close the game.
5. Sato gets marginal minutes, 9th-man minutes.
6. Green reminds you that he is a bad player on a veteran minimum contract.
7. Oubre has his nth bad game in a row.

But John Wall had a tremendous outing, & Jason Smith & Tomas Satoransky turned a combined 11 shots & 4 FTAs into 20 points. We won.

My expectations for this season are dropping like a stone. Some of it's just jitters, but....

Some of you on this board are an absolute misery to read. Criticizing Wall for making a contested shot, however difficult, up three with four seconds left in a game during preseason? Really? Do you get your rocks off to nitpicking? I truly believe if the player who made that shot was on the other team and was someone you wanted to draft, you’d have a ten page thread by morning debating the blunder of not picking him.
