Not making excuses for anyone, but the fact is Butler only showed up for a portion of practice, scrimmaged & walked out. So i'm pretty sure he has more energy than the other guys to get a two-a-day in.

Where's Tyus, Okogie, Teague, Taj, Bates-Diop, etc?? They're all probably resting just like KAT & Wiggs are and Jimmy is preparing his body for his new team since he didn't participate in the full practice with this squad

Tbh I wouldn't be offended if the team accepted a worse offer (within reason) from a team not on butler's wish list just to send a message that this scortched earth strategy crap doesn't work as intended in Minnesota. I'd respect it actually.

And truth is getting destroyed by butler on the rockets isn't my idea of fun. It would be embarrassing to be honest.

This lying a**hole said in his presser that he is not in it for the money and that basketball is the most important thing to him.. he is purely acting up to force a trade, there's always two sides to the story and I find it interesting that we have only heard one side so far.. we all know we offered him enough $$. What a P***k, if I was Taylor I make him honour his contract, keep him for the year and let him find a new home for 140 mil if anyone even wants to pay that..

I don't like the circus he has caused but he just says what others don't want to in case feelings get hurt. I love it! I've been saying for years that Wiggins is soft like charmin and KAT cries like a newborn. Truth hurts but it's hard to light a fire under Wiggs. If I were JB, I come in tomorrow and post up charmin until he folds. I think after 29 years it may be time to find a new team to back.
One thing I cannot stand is soft little babies and if this is the truth then I am out. I am giving this team 10 games to show some fire with or without Jimmy.
This is big boy league and if you can't pee in the tall grass, best stay home.

I see everyone all up in arms over this practice event. I wish he would have done exactly this back in November when he found out this team was a pack of pillow fighters. Maybe they would have had a chance to hash it out and become a team last year. Instead we got the artful Minnesota version of Sun Tzu's war of guilt trips and attrition.

They wont be forced to take a bad deal unless they are close to the trade deadline and even though they can simply let him walk (which is also bad for the Wolves and Butler). There is a good chance that between now and the deadline, some team will outbid the teams putting forth poor offers. Just how the market works. If a hot commodity is on sale for 10 bucks but everyone only wants to pay 5. Someone will eventually pay 7 and a sale will be made.

That's right Calinks. Even at the trade deadline some teams will be close to going over the top and will be desperate to add a guy like Jimmy to take them the rest of the way.

This Butler antic today was pre planned all the way with the espn media conveniently here to record it. Woj is making the guy out to look like a hero. There are no coincidences. That alone might speed up progress on a deal.
