Winning game 1 vs. Kershaw is huge.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The good thing is I live in the Bay Area so most people here hate the Dodgers and they are cheering with me. Bad news is there are still too many Dodger fans up here. One more day. Let's go Brewers!

Last year a lot of the country was rooting for the Astros because they've never won. This year it's the Brewers.

Many books don't have a line on game 1 since there is no named starter for the Brewers. Those that do have lines assume it's Chacin. I see Dodgers -147, Brewers +140 on the money line (I see small variations) . The run line is -1.5/+1.5. Over is 7 at -125, under 7 is at +105

Westgate odds of winning the WS

Houston 2-1
Boston 9-4
Dodgers 3-1
Brewers 4-1

The classic Naked Gun movie had a great baseball game finale. This article talks about it and about how the Zuckers wanted the Brewers in it but MLB rejected them for the Mariners. There is a clip of the "bloopers" part of that scene. Good stuff. Curt Gowdy, Dick Enberg, Jim Palmer, Mel Allen, Tim McCarver, Dick Vitale were all in the baseball part of the movie.

I'm going to be in the Bay Area next week, so I'll be there when we sweep 'em. I'm sure there will be some Giants fans who will be down to celebrate.

I'm assuming he'll have a pretty short leash. 3-4 innings and get someone else in there to mow down some righties that are assuredly in the lineup for the Dodgers.

Miley game 2, Chacin game 3.

They must want to avoid lefty bats in Miller Park.

CC saying, maybe Chacin will pitch in Game 1.

twitter people saying, Chacin, for sure to RP in game 1.

if true,
thats fine with me.
win Games 1 and 2, use everyone/anyone, anything u got to get it done.

if not true,
i like it.
a little gamesmanship, to force lad to prepare for it

I think they also want the benefit of the home crowd behind Gio and Miley.

Not a big fan of starting a guy with control issues against a patient offense.

Do they still have a contract through DHL. I remembered that was always so strange, like who ships via DHL. :banghead:

The worst part is there's a Scheel's here and they sell the goddamn hoodie. I could have had it last week.

I seen them at Kohls, but didn't care for the styles.
