There is so much material to work with here, but seriously, how does a guy average 3 rebounds per 36 for his career? that is horrendous lol.

by the way, Bball ref has Satoransky's projections up now: 11.2 points 5.8 assists 5.1 rebounds 1.2 steals and 1.8 turnovers(3.0 A/TO) 50/42/77 shooting splits, .125 WS/48 (which of course would be double that of Rivers' career figure)

We can be optimistic and everything, but Rivers and to a lesser extent, Green, are bad players that are probably not helping you when they are on the court.

Just trade Sato for a bag of peanuts and be done with it... SA?

Ehhh. Hes a great athlete with quick/dexterous hands and feet along with a nice shooting stroke. He made 34% of his 3's and 82% of his FT's last year. I have a hard time believing he shoots under 34-35% from 3 so long as he works and doesnt have a mental collapse.

The key is that he stays energetic on D without giving up stupid fouls or get tunnel vision on O.

It's preseason folks! Let's wait until at least the regular season before storming the castle.

Guilty as charged!

Just above I wrote that my expectations are "dropping like a stone."

Then, this afternoon, in another thread, I have us winning 54 games! LOL.

I think Sato is going to start since Rivers is our 6th man for good and gets his minutes anyway... :(

Mahinmi, 12 minutes, 5 fouls. Come on! And if I remember right someone said Otto only took two shots in the first half. Sigh...

I doubt it. Brooks really seems to love Rivers. I don't get it. The guy hasn't shot close to 50% in a game yet. So far this preseason, he is 9-24 from the field (37.5%) and 2-15 from the 3-point line (13.3%). And despite that, he's 2nd on the team in total minutes played this preseason, behind only Bradley Beal.
Doc Rivers is a good friend of Scott Brooks.
