What have we done other than log 3 of the 4 worst records in Suns history.

I want to defend the Suns but we're in NO position to talk sht about any other team. Except for the Kings

Who have done better than us the last 3 years, though part of the last two may be to intentional tanking. They just do even a worse job with picks. Sometimes.

Better than 21, 23, and 24 wins? I'm sure there's about 26-28 other teams doing better than us the last few seasons

Blazers aren't the Warriors........

Having a better overall winning % doesn't mean jack. Most of those wins were amassed during great eras of Suns basketball and
really has nothing to do with this tanking culture we've been built.

I'm not arguing about our wins, I'm just saying, the Blazers aren't the Warriors so those fans can STFU!

They aren't professing that they are. But they can say objectively, they have been more successful and have done so without the need for tanking than we have been the last 5 seasons.

No one asked them to come here and profess ****. Who cares about the Blazers. Don't come here and berate our team. If we went to the GB, cool, but don't come in here with that crap. We can talk about our team, but I'd be damned if I let someone else talk about our team and back that crap up. That's like someone talking about your brother who is a **** up and you say yea, what kind of crap is that. F Them.

The Blazer didn't profess sht. It was a Suns poster who brought up the Suns being in a better position than the Blazers.

The Blazer fan came by just to say he feels sorry for our situation but said at least there's positives in Booker and Ayton and a new GM. What's wrong with that? Most Suns fan feel the exact same way. It's been a bad situation but at least we have Booker and Ayton now.

Then Funky Tut starts talking sht about Blazers who have made playoffs each year McD was in office without having to draft at #1

I'd rather be rebuilding with young talent than a treadmill team like Portland that will never be better than the top teams in the west but not bad enough to get top picks.

I was about to say the same thing...I don't think he was intentional trolling or anything. I feel sorry for you guys (and myself) having to watch the Suns too, but am glad we have Booker and Ayton too.

But he was certain to piss someone off, even if he was trying to kind of be nice.

I mean I didn't personally care, but I can get why people wouldn't appreciate backhanded "compliment" from a non-Suns fan. I can talk **** about my family, but if someone calls my sister a slut then I'm probably not gonna too happy about it even if she is lol.

I just think it's kind of 'rich' that a Suns fan could say anything about any other team, especially one that's been objectively successful. It's just not a good look considering we've done nothing yet

Yeah especially when the Blazers drafted Jake Layman with the 47th pick in 2016 and we drafted Bender at No 4. :( :x

To be fair, for Layman, that was like his "Alec Peters game" that Peters had to close the season last year.

Layman has shot 20% from 3 and less than 30% overall in his career. But it was crazy he had that career night...interestingly enough...it came against....Anderson in the first quarter mostly, so that's a little worrisome.

It’s cool he “feels sorry for us” but yeah we have some good young pieces but I feel sorry for Portland because they will never get past the top 3 teams in the West but they have Damian and CJ and they make the playoffs , cool. Currently they are in a better situation than us but long-term?

Well you just never know what teams will do....we have been in situations in the past like them and made pivots and gotten better. Some of those years with Nash we were no higher than the 3 seed and thought we would contend.

Of course with the Warriors and somewhat maybe the Rockets it makes things infinitely tougher than usual but any team can rise. I don't expect it to be Portland and I wouldn't want to be in their position right now really but you never know. I imagine they have enjoyed watching the Lillard years where they have pretty much been a firm piece in the playoffs. If all you care about as a fan, then yeah, I can understand thinking who cares.

But there is a portion of the fanbase who watches all the games and just enjoys watching a good competitive team, and a chance to get into the playoffs and a chance to advance, no matter how small.

I don't know that they will be a playoff team this year but that is one team I underestimate every single year and then the continue to kill us. Either Stotts is a hell of a coach or they just rise up for us or the oppposite.

Fair enough if you think Portland has peaked but we've done nothing to suggest Booker/Ayton even reaches Portland's peak.
