I have a feeling Karma is going to catch up to Big Mouth Butler (New name?) But the Wolves will ultimately pay for it.

Wouldn't that be kind of stupid ? Jimmy needs to play with the guys he is going to be out there with when the season starts if he's staying. Thing is, Jimmy would do it just to prove a point. That team is obviously better than the Wolves best lineup without Jimmy since he beat them down and "ran the table on them". Jimmy might actually be able to do better with that group than with the regulars, just for the reason that he might get a better effort out of them. At least they will try on both ends.

I'll bet you this much. In one of Jimmy recent meetings with Thibs, Thibs probably told him that he needed to meet with the players only and see if they were willing to work with him and try to compete this year. To see if he could get KAT to agree to play with him. He probably said... "look guys when I was healthy we were on a 54 win pace and would have been 3rd seed in the Western Conference, I think we can better than that. Let's put aside our differences and everybody get on the same page and let's go out there and surprise everyone". Thibs likely told him that Towns said he wouldn't sign his extension and he didn't want to play with Jimmy and that that was the guy he had to convince since he is obviously the next best player on the team next to Jimmy.

If Towns buys in and he actually gets a fire lit, the Wolves could be very very dangerous. Especially with the rookie Okogie, who I know will put in the effort and work and be a great defensive player. In fact, I start the rookieJosh at the 2 and Jimmy at the 3. Make Wiggins the 6th man and let him come off the bench and shoot as much as he wants. That will never happen because of politics, but I think it would be the best way for the Wolves to set up the rotation. Start Teague, Okogie, Jimmy, Taj and KAT. and then have Tyus, Rose, Wiggins, KBD and Dieng. That is a solid rotation and you mix in Tolliver and Luol as 10-15 MPG guys. I know everyone will say..."that's crazy, you can't bench Wiggins"... but he could be the NBA 6th Man of the Year in a role like that. Still get the same amount of minutes as he would starting but just feast on 2nd units. It's kind of the same thing I want the Bulls to do with Jabari.

When is Patton supposed to be back? Is he out for the season of is there a chance he can play at least half the season. That sucks that he's hurt again. I really liked what I saw from him in the G League last season. If he ever gets healthy, he's going to be a very good player.

All facts brother. If he was going head to head against towns this week its time to get his a$$ on the court come regular season.

So a player-only meeting happened. But there's no information about the attendance. It could've been just Jimmy and the 3rd stringers.

Jimmy is just using Shams and woj as his mouthpiece. maybe hes going to take them along with the ywolves.

Some good news.

Wolves beating the Bucks is a near lock. The Bucks just released the guy who took them to playoffs during their stretch run.

What? I thought his foot was shredded again.

Multiple reports suggest he was on the 3rd string 5-on-5 squad with Jimmy

Butler and Thibs are here to stay and will lead us to a 2nd seed this year.

Enjoy or go root for the Gophers

So can I criticize the team and players or not. You telling me to enjoy or leave sure seems like Boy Scout behavior to me. I need to know what is in KG_Wolves Boy Scout manual.

I heard a sportswriter on ESPN this afternoon that wasn’t impressed with Jimmy’s victory versus the starters yesterday.

His point was that Jimmy showed up fresh near the end of Thibs practice, played quickly, and left early.

I hadn’t considered that before, so I thought I’d share. This was so orchestrated.

I am just tired of all the fans that have their panties in a bunch because Butler came in and yelled in a couple people's faces.

So what? A decade and a half of watching boy scouts with pure souls like Wes Johnson and Derrick WIlliams lead us to the 14th seed, and I am sick of it. SICK OF IT.

As far as I am concerned, this franchise needs more unhinged and crazy people like Thibs and Butler, if it means we win consistently like last year.

If you don't like that, then catch a dvd and watch any of our last 14 years of boy scout teams

Maybe Jimmy was standing at the doorway, blocking Wiggins, yelling, “You don’t get in! You ain’t no player!”

Lol butler if he does return will miss his usual 20-30 percent of games this season like always and I doubt they can get the two seed over Houston and gs

As of this point, with Butler, we're better than Portland, SA, both LA teams, New Orleans and we're on the level of Jazz, Thunder & Denver (ironically they're all in the northwest)

If we hang onto Jimmy and he causes no problems before the trade deadline, I can see the standings being like this

1. Golden State
2. Houston
3. Jazz/Thunder
4. Thunder/Jazz
5. Wolves
6. Nuggets
7. Clippers
8. New Orleans or San Antonio

Lakers are going to be bad in the Wild Wild West & LeBron is going to coast this year and work on his Hollywood lifestyle as his young team grows up

The wildest thing about this is the season opener is literally next week. It would be one thing if this happened in June, but I doubt they will figure all of this out before the season kicks off. Could be a VERY interesting first few games.

According to Jimmy it was suppose to happen in June. That is why he is going public with it
