Avery's struggled, it's true, but he's gone head-to-head with the NBA's best starters. If he succeeds, good. If Shai comes in and succeeds where Avery didn't, that's good too.

Give everybody a chance to succeed. Plus you really don't want Shai playing 30 minutes right out of the box.

That said, I'm a little afraid of starting two combo guards in Avery and Pat Bev. It will be clear real quick if it won't work and we'll have to scramble.

What if Bobi's for real? The offense already is.

I do think Avery and Pat Bev attacking the perimeter lets Bobi hang back to protect the rim and may actually be a defensive plus. It just might work.

Marjanovic would average 30 points in 30+ minutes and double digits rebs too I am sure but in modern day NBA he has no place.

Having no place in today's NBA is what makes him so dangerous in my mind. Few teams have any way to guard him in the post. He looks like a 15 year old backing down 10 year olds down low. I would play him some legit minutes and see how it goes. I don't know how many minutes but I do view Bobo as a potential big point per minute weapon.

um, Boban is not potential big point per minute weapon... he is already the best in nba history in that category, or somewhere really close
