Man, this place seems pretty dead right now.

4 preseason games, 4 preseason wins. Shaping up to be the best Leafs season ever. Here's hoping Nylander signs soon.

Yeah, hopefully sooner rather then later.

Def my expectations this year are 2 get to the playoffs & WIN one playoff series.

Two playoff series win would be icing on the cake.

Matthews won the game, but did anyone catch his horrible turnovers? He had at least three that I counted where he passed the puck to the Canadians in front of our own net. Sloppy start for everyone except Freddy. Hope he steals a few games early until we get into a flow.

Matthews is just on such a tear. Rielly is playing ridiculous putting up points galore. Marner is on a mission too so far.

Nylander is going to have to give up some money to get back in there or he's going to miss out. Leafs will trade him before they give him what he's asking for. There's time but the more the Leafs just keep playing well, the less and less they need Nylander signed.

Second most goals allowed in the NHL so far this season. That's slightly concerning. We got off to a hot offensive start last season too. This is a historic pace, but we still need to tighten up on defence.

Matthews has been on for as much as he's produced. Either he really misses Hyman/ Nylander, or it's just an early blip and will normalize. The two rookies, Ozhiganov and Lindholm seem to be finding their game after a rough start.

We've won a bunch of squeakers without one of our best players. I'll take it.

There's definitely some concern there but I think it will figure itself out in time. The offense is too good, the powerplay is so good that the offense really shouldn't slow down.
