The best move Stearns made before the deadline was to not move Woodruff (Burnes was a no brainer). The ball just esplodes off his hand and bat.

Pre-emptive in case Woody has any hiccup. Game 1 percentages over historical 7 game series NLCS. Makes sense. You could legit try and get 2 innings from Hader as well. Obviously, w Woodruff turning into a legit stud this past month it was more precautionary at present.
