He definitely gets beat up and is a gamer. I just hope there aren't lingering problems from it. He looked a little concerned, like "should I still be playing thru this", after the mask came off and he caught that foul ball. The importance of the game would clearly be a consideration.

I always get worried with these national announcers acting like hader is a pitching machine and can't be beat. Feels like they are just asking to "jinx" him.

Loved pumping the slider against the lefty. Disappeared on him. Against the righties he did a good job of getting up in the count and got away with getting too much of the plate off stuff.

CC has always hated pitching him on back to back days. I always figured he would be down for game 2 either way. Maybe they are trying to save Knebel? Who knows we 'may' be able to save JJ as well in this game.
