Yeah, being injured last year was really unfortunate. You know he can really shoot and defend looking at his entire basketball career, but the injury hurt his chances.

his career? at what Miami? look he is ok at best but he is a below average athlete that hurts at this level and he doesn't do anything exceptional just a bunch of stuff he is ok at.

Yes, the guy was a career 40% 3 pt shooter on high volume over 4 years and an elite defender with a huge wingspan. He didn't do very good last year coming off an injury.

The way you guys want to cut these guys who have played in 21 NBA games coming off injury as a rookie with a bunch of crappy players is ridiculous.

no one said cut him but he should get his minutes in g league he has done nothing to earn minutes at this level

True, but not better than Ayton. And Ayton only played a few minutes that last game. No worries, they can jock Doncic all they want, Ayton is going to runaway with this thing.

Doncic 250% more assists, 50% more steals.....hitting a high number of 3s at a great %, when Ayton didn't hit any.

Ayton 65% TS%, Doncic 62%

So you could argue either way....they played similar minutes per game...Doncic like 10% more.

How many double doubles did Doncic have? Actually, how many 10 assists games did he have versus Ayton’s rebounds when you compare the strengths of a big versus a Point Forward. What was Doncic high’s versus Ayton’s? 250% better sounds good, but when comparing that to 1.5 assists it isn’t. Donic high number of threes didn’t lead to a high number of points?!? Just like his steals....Ayton’s points and Rebs were greater than Donic points and asst. also, I’m assuming Ayton’s +\- was better since you didn’t mention it, also all of his advanced stats, because that’s your calling card not these simplified stats. So no, there is no argument. Ayton dominates the Preason.
