Re: Political Roundtable Part XXIII
The unmitigated gall of someone to admit that they know Trump is a morally bankrupt individual but they voted for him because of SCOTUS but turn around and accuse people of being part of the "Baby Killing Brigade." So I will vote for anyone as long as they have an R attached, any morality be damned...but I'll still stand on my sanctimonious high horse and look down at you sinful liberals.

Re: Political Roundtable Part XXIII
history of african american unemployment.
take special note of barrack obama era.
Look at the tail end of peak unemployment. 3 years of 17-18% UE!!
4th year at 15%!!!
Slowest recovery of all time in modern history!!!
Now look at 1970-1975. 5.5%!!!
<--globalization and too much immigration starting in the 70's was NOT a friend of the black community. At all!!! Yet its the democrats that push for both!! Libs want open boarders. Libs want globalization!! All at the expense of the black community!! The historic numbers dont lie!!
Instead, let's make america great again!!

Your party put one of the only people on Earth more corrupt than he was, so who deserves that blame? You see the news of the WP reporter brutally killed by the Saudi's? The same Suadi government Hillary's foundation took millions upon millions from

I'm not a republican!!!!!! I'm an independent!!!!
1. I am an economic nationalist.
2. I am somewhat progressive but mostly a populist.
3. I am conservative leaning as in i believe in law and order.
4. I am socially liberal in that I am a hard core civil libertarian.
5. I am hard core pro life after 18-20 weeks. But pro choice before that time.
No politician checks all my boxes. But trump is the closest thing to the perfect politican for me right now.
And trump is killing it for black, white, and brown people. Killing it!! The only reason you dont think so is because he pushed back hard on obama, his stance on immigration, and liberal media doing everything they can to destroy him.
Trump will go down as Goat President of the modern era. No way around it right now. He changed politics forever and for the better.
His greatest contribution will be that the american people will no longer be fooled into thinking that choir boys run the country. The sheep have woken. You can thank donald trump.
like i said, its a full rebuild.

Re: Political Roundtable Part XXIII
along with the failure to grasp correlation, much less the disconnect between correlation and causation, i think the most insidious fallacy of MAGA specifically is that reverting to past policies will somehow generate similar "successes."
the world is changing, power dynamics change, values change, economies change, technologies change, and everyone has to adapt. pointing to the golden era of the 1950's or late 90's, or whatever era you choose to highlight as the "again" that we need to return to is, as I've implied, a five year old's understanding of the world.
there are entire industrial sectors, notably renewable energy, that are actively being stifled by the current administration because of the prioritization of obsolete industries.
it's very simple concept to grasp that lost coal mining jobs can be replaced by better wind/solar jobs and the only countervailing argument is that we don't want to live through the growing pains of transitioning.
tl;dr -> "the late 80s were a golden age! let's just pretend like we live in the 80's again!" is a stupid instinct.

It was definitely interesting....
President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

But oopsie, we're pregnant and have an abortion, heartless, callous, vile. But there's a lot of actions have no consequences and not being accountable going around among the leftish beleifs

I'm brown, and I will give Trump this, my paycheck is $200 richer after his tax changes. Unlike where my health coverage went up 21% after ACA.

LOL ok so let’s say this right wing fan fiction is 100% true and correct and Hillary has accepted millions of dollars from KSA and it was all discretely funneled into the Clinton Foundation.
Should Trump be more friendly with the Saudis because of that? Is this an alliance you approve of and think is beneficial to Americans?

Yeah man the government banning abortion is the same thing as PP subsidizing contraception. Those two things have very comparable implications regarding bodily choices a woman can make. Same thing! You are very smart!

ANd your point beign what? His murder was very highly orchestrated and carried out by the Suadi royal government. Case in point, they are corrupt, and Hillary took money from them with a huge smile, while still syaing she's for women's rights. We know how the Saudi's feel about that.

Yeah its fiction the Clinton Foundation took money from Suadi, that's just a huge right wing conspiracy, give me a break. No I dont support Trump being friendly with them, but election time I had no way of knowing he would, whereas we know the Clintons romance with them is all GREEN pastures
PP deals with women's bodies in a lot more ways than contraception, the mantra of "my body, my chocie", okay, your body, your money to pay for anything associated with it, not tax payers hard earned moolah. So yeah, makes sense.

At least we can put to rest the concept of American exceptionalism. It's dead. Trump shot it on 5th Ave and lost no supporters.
