Man, Gio has a hard time throwing strikes. You get behind in the count with weak ass stuff, you get burned.

Plan might be to just start Gio for an inning or two unless he is cruising and then switching to a righty against a righty heavy line up.

It's because his stuff is mediocre at best. He's pitching around the zone by design. Knows he can't get many balls by hitters in it.

Waive Yelich during the game and just play with 24 players on the roster instead. Start Santana and Woodruff can be the extra pinch hitter.
