Does this poster serve a purpose? Smells like a troll to me.

Did you actually get a chance to read the post. Especially the part where Williams is needed.? Or are you so controlling that every one has to agree with you?

I exercise my mind. I made observations about the kid. Based on facts. Facts are the kid came with a reputation of not being motivated. Day one he is late. Day 2.... On the court he shows great talent, athleticism but isn't in shape and doesn't hustle.. Watch the tape of the game and not the highlight videos and you might actually learn something..

And then you ignored day 3 to present. There's a reason people throw you in the troll category.

Williams looked much better. Couple of plays he was lackadaisical on.. Scal called him out on one.

I don't know how much he will play . Wonder if a month of full time in Portland might be good for him..

Did anyone notice that Williams seemed to get a signal from the bench, and he said he was fine?

My hope is that they keep him all year with Boston. Sure, he's only made it into two of the C's first 6 games, for 5.5 minutes/game. But I want them to be careful with the Baynes and Theis injuries and not overplay Horford. I think he still tantalizes when he steps on the court. (Three blocks in 8 minutes last night wasn't too lackadaisical!)

So my hope is that he makes it in, say, 3 of the next 6 games, for an average of 7 minutes per. Up to a regular 10-minute contributor by the new year. And 12 to 15 minutes by the end of the season, ready for a taste of the postseason.

I think he's beyond the G league in terms of raw talent, skill, and court awareness. Especially for a big.

Oh, and one more thing--his limited minutes up with the team and the team training staff are probably better for the gradual improvement of his tendinitis than going to put up big minutes in Maine.

Can you imagine a dunk contest between Williams and Zion next year in practice?

Dude blocks a lot of shots. He moves really well. I’d like to see him get a few more minutes. I really don’t need to see any more Semi or Yabusele... except for garbage time.

Cloverleaf the potential and talent are definitely there!.. That dunk upon getting in the game was cool. The pass he made on the baseline, a bounce pass was sweet.

I'm trying to figure out whether it's mental with RobW. His conditioning looked better.. I love Daniel Theis and Baynes but if RobW wants to put the work in, give the kid some p.t. against Drummond, embid,AD..

Morris looked like crap when he first came here, which part of it may have been heatlh.

He picked his feet up ran full gait. He boxed out ..Kind of player This team needs when 3 ball isn't gelling. I was impressed with the bounce pass. It was right where it needed to be.

Not sure Zion is falling to us. To much hype already

Yep. I wouldn't be surprised to see Danny not pick up the option this week on Yabs. And Semi's lack of offense is a big disappointment. He might actually be someone to benefit from extended time in Maine.

Williams is a potential eventual successor (or complement) to Al in the starting lineup.

By all accounts he's been putting the work in--though limited somewhat by his ongoing recovery from tendinitis in his knees. He's a smart player on the court, too. Centers tend to take longer to develop and he's a rookie. IMO he's learning fast. Better to keep him with all the good influences on this team than to send him up to Maine for some bad habits.

No more Yabu and Semi please. Waste of money and roster spots.

The most impressive part about Williams' game last night was not the dunk, nor was it the blocks; it was the beautiful touch pass he made.

Agreed

Seems cerebral compared to a lot of other centers. Bit on the pump fake, but that can be taught. When is the last time the Celtics had an above the rim roller?

At least Semi defends. Yeah, he's a complete zero on offense, though. I've never been convinced Yabu is even an NBA player. I can't think of a single thing he does well. I think no way Ainge picks up his option.
