Actually, he looks like he's got some James Harden in him, imo.

I said all year his floor is Evan Turner, ceiling James Harden. Now pat me on the back by not comparing white Euro to another random white boy.

Yeah, because Doncic will not get the minutes, he will not get the opportunity, he doesn't look ready and he surely doesn't look like he can stuff the stat sheet. I agree with you, it could be only Ayton.

Evan Turner? I dont see that at all, even the Philly version Doncic will likely surpass in his rookie season

Looks like it, but it was my worst case scenario. Turner also was super highly touted 6'7 playmaker with cerebral game, similar prospect to Doncic, but hes honestly a bust. Doncic hopefully ends up way better, he is better shooter already.

Thanks for agreeing with me, I am glad we are seeing things the same way.

Nothing in his post specifically mentions Bagley.

Then BAMBAFREAK said this about Carter Jr.: "He looks about as expected".

When he gets to Bagley he said: "Bagley pick was questioned and will be for a while. "

Nobody was comparing the two until you did.

As for their stats I did a Google search too and the first 5 results came up with nothing. However NBA.com has stats for both players on different pages of their website (both without per 36 stats). That's why I asked you were you got your information.

And then he went on to say "Outside of Bagley I doubt many Gms would trade any of those guys for Carter." Again, reading helps.

Sorry that I missed that. I don't see why either player should be compared. Bagley was ranked higher than Carter throughout college and into the draft. It makes sense that he went #2 overall.

I agree that Bagley gets unfair criticism, but one reason for that is because the Kings picked him over Doncic.

FWIW, Bagley has been improving by leaps and bounds. He was/has been arguably the Kings best big in the last few preseason games. Don't sleep on Giles either--dude has elite passing for a big man.

ROY is between Ayton and Doncic. I think they both are going to be so much fun to watch. They both can become superstars soon.

I think it's clear that whoever has the better game today will be ROY. And yes, that includes Jordan, we have to fair here. If DAJ has a great game, he should ROY award, or at least sharing it with Doncic.

Simmons easily so far the #1.

We'll see what happens tonight.

It is quite ridiculous how we are jumping to conculsions without a single game played.

I personally am looking forward to every single one of them. (Rookies)

I am also happy that I watched NCAA as this makes it that much more fun for me. Looking at all of these indvidual story lines and how they will develop. Just great. And maybe after 30 games played we can start the discussion without any definite answers as to who may be in contention. Starting it any sooner to me is just jumping the gun

I wish my boy Zhaire Smith was healthy and playing for the 76ers. Oh well, hopefully he can come back around Christmas and be an impact player.

loved the video. Never questioned his ability to defend on switches and one pass rotations. My concerns were always how he reads the action being ran. How he identifies when to blowup cutters and how to read the scoring action on a play so he can make his rotations on time there. Once he gets that part down and starts to communicate on defense then we're working with something special on both sides of the floor.

Sidenote: I know folks thought i was crazy when i was saying this a year ago but Josh freaking Jackson can pass the ball and works super well with finishing bigs. We will see him take a leap this year and start to transition into the poor man's Grant Hill i think he can be.
