We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Congrats to the Astros. Even the Ofer King managed to get a hit so that he is now hitting a cool .100 in playoff baseball. He is a great cheerleader, though.

Springer is now the Astros all-time leader in postseason HR's, which is pretty awesome.

AND:

"Springer now has eight homers in a stretch of nine postseason games dating back to last year, which ties an MLB record held by Reggie Jackson (1977-78), Jim Thome (1998-99) and Carlos Beltran (2004)."

THAT is also pretty awesome.

If only there was a way for Trevor Bauer to still be pitching in the postseason. Like what if he didn't get taken to school by Bregman in game 2, and then not totally crap his pants today on his way to watching his team get swept...imagine what that would have been like! If only that was possible...

Jobu will make the bats come alive tonight. Jobu has been offered cigar, rum, and a live chicken. He will come.

I like the lineup changes for tonight, and I like Morton being on extra rest.

Do not let me(and Jobu) down!

GO ASTROS!

Well...going to be damn near impossible to win 3 in a row, but they got Verlander going tonight and Cole in game 6 if they can get there.

One game at a time.

I was a few rows up from the "interference" call. It was complete and utter BS. The only people who seem to think that it actually was interference were Red Sox homers, Dookie Betts & the drunk idiots who made the call.

There was an incident with security and some people who appeared to be trying to confront the fans involved.

Can we get rid of home plate umpires now?

Welp...pretty tough to see how they're going down. It's quite sad and disappointing. It's one thing to lose the series, but man...getting swept at home and losing 4 in a row after playing so well against Cleveland and in game one of this series.

Sigh.

Let's just be like SF and win every other year, I'll take that.

;)

But yea, disappointing but they're still going to be really dangerous next year and have a chance to get right back into the postseason. It will be a long winter though.
