I've not lost the faith. We just went on a 13 game win streak. Two in a row isn't crazy.

We're not going to bench the MVP in a must win game dudes.

So, we have to win two in a row, at home, with our best weapons ready to go, to get to the World Series?

LET'S GOOOOOOO

I certainly think our pitchers are ready and I’m very confident in them but you know LA is gonna play free and easy on offense and we will be tense. They have a Buehler + Kershaw game 7 in their back pocket. Also they’ve been in the NLCS 3 years in a row. They will not panic. If the Brewers can score a couple runs in the first 3 innings I think we got it. If we go through the lineup once and get nothing going, stick a fork in these guys.

Also, while I agree we all would’ve signed up for this 2 game chance at the start of the season I think the wide pessimism comes from us being caught in the minutia of this series. It’s kidna like the 2014 NFCCG collapse. Normally you’d feel good about hitting a Crosby field goal to tie and send into overtime, but the problem was what transpired to get to that point. We all knew the packers would lose in that overtime (hell we knew they lost when it went off Bosticks face) but back to the brewers it’s more how they got here to these 2 games To explain why we’re worried. This is not the team that won 12 in a row right now.

Haudricourt: Brewers need a two-game win streak now

Thanks Tom.

:D

The talking heads on the MLB network have been so obnoxious with their confusion and hatred of "bullpenning" that its become the story for every major news outlet in the country. We've pitched phenomenally all postseason. Counsell has handled the staff masterfully. But not only can we not hit the ball, we can't even put together decent at-bats. Yet the story has become, "Dodgers figure out stupid, small market, bullpen trickery fad." Minds are blown. People are dumb.

We need to do something with the lineup. Move Jesus down. Start Braun at first and Domingo in right. I don't know. But something.

If we win tomorrow I have access to a game 7 ticket for face value. The problem is my wife's grandma's 91st birthday party is out of town on Saturday. I already said I would go out of town with my wife for the entire weekend and be at the birthday party. Anyone who's been married for longer than five weeks got any advice here? I think I'm leaning biggest Brewers game of my life over going to the party. I've got a one week buffer of being out of town all next week for work. :uhoh:

EDIT: I proposed I skip the party and go to the game and we go back and visit grandma together in three weeks when we both have an open weekend and that seems to have solved the issue.

Are they going Ryu and then Buehler for Games 6 and 7?

Unless Roberts tries some trickery like CC I think so. Also Kershaw should be available to pitch some of game 7.

She's 91. Dont postpone your visit too long, or, ya know... The safer bet is to go to her party this weekend, sell me Saturday's ticket (at face value), and you and your bride can attend a World Series game together at Miller Park. Win, win, win.

They could bring Buehler back on short rest to try and close it out in Game 6 and then use some combo of Ryu and Kershaw if it goes to Game 7.
