We were warned, spent an entire year patently sitting on a tragedy. No more Afrikaans proverbs.

We watched Op'edipus sleep with his mother, kill his father, curse his own house and let him do it again. Done being Antigone. OP I hope you hit your toes on the side of your bed

And if nothing else, this game highlighted about how much we lack good PF options outside of JJ

Wish Stokes was still a project for us

I could have sworn we drafted a guy just last year for that job. Or maybe it was to replace Whiteside. Either way we're not letting him do either. Buried 3 deep at the C spot, and now 3 deep at the PF spot too. But he's untouchable in trades.

J Rich is a nice kid but to be the man, it shouldn't be given to you, it should be taken. He needs to learn to be a leader. I would still put the ball in Dragic's hand on a final play. He is cold blooded. He won't freeze up.

He won't freeze up? His nuts shrink to the size of raisins! How do you think the ball always ends up in someone else's hands? He's the best offensive player we have, but he defers to EVERYONE. Delusional Kobe/Waders, 2nd round picks, 36 year olds we got at a yard sale at the trade deadline ... EVERYONE.

I like Dragic as a player, but no one pisses me off worse. He just refuses to grow a pair and take charge.

Because Dragic doesn't want to the ball! Alphas don't sit around the huddle hoping that coach calls their number. They demand the ball! Dragic is an 11 year veteran, and clearly our best offensive player, but he doesn't want to responsibility of winning/losing games. He's perfectly happy watching anyone/everyone else take the last shot.

I rather watched Duncan Robinson instead of KO in this game, Kelly wasn't ready. And at some point in 2nd qt there was no spacing at all.

Spo establish that Goran is not allowed to touch the ball within 2 mins for the past 3 yrs, where u been?

Nah, that's Goran, he always runs in the corner when games get tight. He might shoot off a kick out, but I've never seen him look to be a decision maker when it gets tight. DOesn't matter who is on the floor.

All I know I want bam in there at powerforward, and TJ gonna have to get himself together and start. He looked ok yesterday in the limited minutes. The Heat needs two ball handlers on the court So JRich, Goran, Bam and Whiteside can get their share of off the ball points. Bam and Whiteside at the very least draws 3 to 4 defenders into the paint opening it up for Goran, Rich and TJ on the outside. Run the same offense that San Antonio runs

He's a sophomore and barely has ever played the position, going to take some time before he's ever a good option there, if ever.

Mia's sloppiness highlights the team's #1 need, imo, which is an elite ball handling PG.

What's up MadD. Good to see you here brother.

Another season just about to get under way, with the same crew basically. Unless Riley pulls the trigger on JB somewhere down the line. Looking forward to seeing some of our young guys take another step up towards All-Star status. Wouldn't that be special.

LETS GO HEAT!!

Knowing me, you know how bad I want Butler on the Heat. But I m cool either way, I am looking forward to enjoying the season.

Please keep us posted with your Mom's recovery, I am praying for her bud!
