Inside the bar area where you get the beer was another smaller tv, also with Brewers. I suppose there will rarely be conflicts like this but it kind of sucked not to be able to watch the Bucks outside the arena.

There are benches, picnic tables actually to sit. They say it's heated but the few heaters they had didn't give off much heat. The beer is served inside a small building adjacent. Too small. Crowded because it was cold outside. Didn't stick around.

I was at the beer garden and on the floor last night.

Too bad I couldn't buy you a beer.

Agree with your assessments here.

We stood back by the sound board to avoid being packed like sardines and to be close to bathrooms/beer stands.

Overall a super fun experience, but was kind of annoyed we weren't allowed in at the main entrance and had to go around to the north side of the arena. I get the reasoning, but I wanted to start and buy some food. After going though the club entrance and wandering around, just not enough time to go upstairs and stand in line for food before the show.

Yeah it's not looking like much of an "investment". I I greatly over estimated what the demand would be. Hopefully demand will increase once they really start winning.

This is kind of weird for a home opener post game event, feels like a real limited audience, unless I'm just out of touch (very possible)

Feels like just getting a local band to put on a short set after the game would be more inviting to keep fans in the arena

Also, there's been zero announcement of any pregame or halftime entertainment. Thought Bucks would go big for first ever game at new arena. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Silent should be the only type of disco but it's not silent if I have to wear headphones.

I haven't been inside Fiserv Forum but these last couple pages are disheartening. Will there be a way for me to watch parts of the Brewers game on Friday night?

The problem I always had when I was a season ticket holder is that nobody wants to go to the games in December and January. Those sell for pennies on the secondary market.

I bought a 10-pack about a decade ago and I vowed never again after seeing what tickets were going for on Stubhub and The Ticket King. I won't even explore season tickets until the Bucks prove to be consistent contenders. I have a friend in from out of town who bought eight $100 (plus fees) tickets about a month ago. Seats in his section/similar row are currently going for less than half that on Stubhub. Always wait until the day of or day before for regular season games.

yeah and once Brewers season is over.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Yeah, at this point I don't know if I will even be able to sell the 2nd regular season game at the new arena. Other than the few "marquee" games I haven't noticed much difference in the market/prices.

Two days ago I bought 100 level seats for tomorrow’s game for $50 each. Row 9 behind the hoop. They were cheaper on the secondary market than retail through the Bucks. Not a great sign for the opener.

Any chance of a ticket package being an investment were gone the moment they limited the number of extra tickets available for purchase before the general public got a chance at them. and then on top of that, they limited the number available, so getting extras to games like the lakers and warriors was almost 0%

Sure. They had a lot of TV's inside tuned to the Brewers last night.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

And with the fluid ticketing still not working, season holders can't even exchange out of that game.

Agreed about ticket resell prices. Glad I went with cheap upper level seats so I won't lose too much and will just tap out after this season. Once the fluid ticketing is up I can forsee myself just returning a bunch of games nobody wants and using that credit to sit in decent seats a few times rather than accepting $8 on StubHub.

I always park in the surface lot on the Southwest corner of 6th & State directly East of the courthouse structure.

Any regular attendees have better suggestions?

Park for free on Vliet or 5th Street if Vliet is full.
