I think it'll come down to the wire...one way or another. Thank god for Rondo and Mcgee though. Hart picked it up, but Lonzo/Ingram look absolutely shook. And Kuz seems a little too hyped lol..

Definitely? Lillard definitely didn’t turn his shooting around and neither did CJ when they last saw rondo

Yeah, when Ingram's shots are wide open, he's gotta drill them at a consistent clip.

Ditto with Kuzma, Hart, KCP.

I'd consider putting a Rondo/Ingram/Kuzma/LeBron/McGee line-up out to start the second half. KCP has basically done nothing and we could use some firepower and size.

Painful. Not to single him out, because nobody's hitting, but Ingram's just got to make outside shots if he's going to be the player we need him to be. Frustrating given that he can get a good look pretty much any time he wants.

He has had some quality looks from twelve as well...just a matter of time though, he's getting to his spots the shots will eventually fall.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking about just 3s with this post. He's had good looks on pretty much every shot he's taken. Obviously Durant is on a completely different tier, but that elbow jumper where he just raises up over his man is pretty much automatic. Ingram's never going to be that good, but he's just gotta make those shots.

I don't know what's more jarring: the Lakers' three-point-shooting or Portland's paint defense. It's not like the Lakers' shooters (or lack thereof) have done anything to stretch the floor, which is why I'd be shocked to have nearly the same inordinacy of paint points in the second half if Portland thinks to adjust at all.

I said Shoot better, not shoot good. It's hard for them to shoot worse than they did. But yeah, we look like a different team with Rondo in there. It seems like he's a perfect fit for this team at this stage of his career.

There are no real excuses though for the shots he missed.

He missed open shots, actual open shots he should be drilling every time.

I'm not too concerned. He's still playing with alot of confidence and energy. Wish I could say the same thing about Zo, his body language has been horrible.

Yeah, you just can't win games with outside shooting like this.

What. Is this like baseball where the court/field has different dimensions?
Where a 300 foot flyball is an out in some ball parks and a home run in others?

No... it’s the same hoop

This team has a lack of shooters
