A little FYI. At the game we were sitting in our seats, and just in front of us in sect 122 was a quartet of scouts from opposing teams seated at a temporary table on a temporary platform. One was from Miami and two were from OKC. Don't know who the 4th was associated with. We noticed a lot of note taking when Chandler and Warren were in the game. Chandler especially. OKC is on the schedule in a couple of weeks, but Miami is pretty far out.

That's exactly what i meant. What's he capable of being would be perfect as starting PF. What he IS, shouldn't be playing

If TJ missed two more threes, and JJ didn't hit his last two, we would have won by only 9 even with Booker playing perfect basketball down the stretch. And it's not like the Mavs were killing it out there. The potential for overreaction to one game is certainly here.....

But thinking about it, it seems unlikely that Deandre becomes a turnover machine going forward, or that Devin foregoes threes for long twos, or Josh spends the year panic-shooting. All of these are mitigated by Koko and Trevor. Trevor might get into a funk for a few games, but you're not going to see volume bricks. Igor's going to continue to press Deandre to improve as a defender, and he'll continue to tell Book to get to that long ball. He'll take Josh out if he's killing us.

Koko, Deandre, Booker, Ariza is solid. If TJ and JJ hit their threes, we could have a "Brad Stevensesque" turnaround in terms of team 3FG%.

All that positivity aside, we will have to get better in several ways if we want to make the playoffs. We're not going to shoot like that every night, and we will play mostly better teams than Dallas. RIP LUKA4ROY

Cool info to share!

Figure Miami will try to push a deal with Dragic coming here and Warren going to Miami (maybe part of a Butler deal?)
Does OKC need a backup C? Maybe teams are scouting and hoping he gets bought out after the deadline.

I wonder when Ayton sprained his ankle. Don't remember seeing any issues during the game.

Warren making 3s was great but honestly him simply being willing to take them is a VERY positive sign.

OKC really does need a center. The only think we could possibly be interested in on their roster is Schroder, and I am not really interested in that.

I think OKC wants another wing and could be looking at trading Schroder for Warren. I hate his hair.

Schroeder is just unlikable in a Mike James sort of way—just more so.

Man I can be so oblivious sometimes.

At one point I was heckling deandre Jordan. I have no idea what I was saying but I was yelling it out and trying to get Jordan’s attention. I kept yelling at him “deandre!” Like “quit crying deandre!!!” Or something like that.

So I was really perplexed when some suns fans were looking at me like I was doing something wrong. Like I was an obnoxious jerk (I mean, I am a tad obnoxious but only towards opponents and refs). I didn’t know what I did wrong but I stopped heckling Jordan.

It never occurred to me that there were two deandres on the floor! Fans probably thought I was yelling at Ayton!
For some reason in my mind
Deandre = Jordan
And
Ayton = Ayton

Like I always refer to Deandre Ayton as “Ayton”. So when I was screaming at deandre Jordan as “deandre” it made total sense to me.
I hope Ayton didn’t think I was yelling at him! I’m hella loud at games and I intentionally wait until it’s quiet in the arena before I scream out or booo the refs.

I was just reading an article where a mavs writer referred to the *two* deandres Wednesday night. I was like “ohhhh”

Yeah, when I saw that report I figured if we have had talks with them it was probably for Schroeder, which would suck. I looked at his contract after JDLAW said that and he makes $15.5 million next year. They may just want to dump him for Chandler. I think they really need to shave salary....I think they are well in the tax. But that would really eat into our FA cap space this summer. Like only leave us $8 million or so I think unless we waived and stretched Anderson which would get us up to $20 or so...and of course if we decline Bender's option that would open more.

I really really don't want Schroder though.

Not sure how you could forget the name of our #1 draft pick. I'm sure if he heard you he thought you were talking about him...usually when a fan yells a guys name during a game they are not thinking "is there anyone else who has my name?"

I didn’t *forget* his name! Haha. I was just screaming at the *other* deandre. Just didn’t occur to me
