Sucks that the season is basically over already. Beat the Lovies
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Just don't lose....I guess. There better be a damn short leash on Hornibrook.

I didn’t think I could get this frustrated with Chryst this quickly.

Started with the ball, 3 first half take away some by a decimated defense, our own terrible int overturned, and we have 14 points against an awful defense.

Something needs to change. If it’s the qb, so be it. IF it’s the coach, so be it. Way too much talent on offense (outside of qb) to be this bad. It’s embarrassing.

This team is going be better off without Hornybrook. I just can't watch him. I know there was talk earlier about WI QB's but they seen to be the hardest thing to watch with this team year after year. Wilson is probably the only one that stands out. Sure we had Tolzien and others but they were still just ok.

Did you mean Coan, or is that a call-back from a couple years ago? Coan redshirted. I don't think it'll be burnt because there is less to play for now. But next year I think Chryst believes he has a serious shot at overtaking Hornibrook because he was averse to the mistakes the aforementioned Houston made.

I don’t want to live in a world where Horni has more pass attempts than Taylor has rush attempts.

Scott Tolzien or Jim Sorgi would be a godsend for this team. Hornibrook is just absolute trash.

Always thought it was odd Bondoc wouldn't be integrated by the last 2 coaches when he was a playmaker in practices in that game. He's gotten into this game due to mass attrition, and already has an INT, FF, 1.5 tackles for a loss, and there just did a subtle thing in cutting off the pitch option and forcing the qb inside where AVG made the tackle.

Speaking of AVG, this year the Badgers' defense should improve over the course of the season w/ the havoc he wreaks, but the team will miss him again next campaign. Baun I think will get better getting further removed from the knee injury and being leaner as it appears he is now. But I don't think they can stick with seniority otherwise and has to look to the kids like a Goetz. Very important to have penetrators at that position in the 3-4.

Isn’t van Ginkel a junior?

He's a senior. Was a JUCO transfer who played for Bucky last year. Even if he was a junior, he's an NFL prospect so good chance he'd declare.

Since when did defensive holding tack on extra yardage after a play instead of “take the penalty or the play”?

Hard to take much from the game other than how bad Illinois is.

Other observations:
Horni is obviously too inconsistent. Made like three good throws all game. Made about three terrible decisions. Other completions were wide open. Missed some wide open guys. Offers no threat to move the chains with feet. Just not good enough.

Deiter is the weak link on the OL. He’s been pretty lousy all year but had a nightmare game. Start van lanen, move dietzen inside.

Young secondary has played well two weeks in a row

Why are they so protective of Coan? Isn't Mertz supposed to over take him anyways 2 years from now? If I'm Coan/Badgers I try playing him now.
