luke at p.g. and better player movement

Post#1 » by davidvolumes » Sat Oct 20, 2018 3:10 am

I believe luke is very capable of playing point. He wouldn't have to initiate offense consistently because Blake is playing point forward. I am sure he would be a better decision maker, shooter and no worst offensively. Feed him the point in small bites and by years end he might be the player he was at duke.
On offense I would see to see Blake, Andre and Stanley set multiple off the ball screens for luke, bullock, Galloway and grlll. Andre especially floats to the 3 point line as the other players become spectators. Use his body to help free your shooters.

I’m down cause I like Reggie playing offball more in like a Jrue Holiday role. Plus this way Ish can still run the second unit.

He can't play a Jrue Holiday role. He's no longer good at driving, and he's not a good shooter. He has made literally his entire career as a pick-and-roll point guard. That's all he's good for anymore.

Well he can’t play PG dominating the ball very well either. I think so far he looks better when Casey puts a traditional PG next to him (basically just Ish).

They need to do whatever it takes to get Luke open shots, when he gets a look its money.

He can't do anything well right now. He's playing like did in 2016-2017: physically hobbled, and totally unable to score at the basket or play defense.
