Please start Hart & move KCP to the bench... Dude is a better shooter, driver & rebounder than KCP plus he is part of the young core...

Hart closed the game out last half of the fourth, that’s what mostly matters.

The most notable lineup decision is actually Ingram riding the bench in crunch time.

I see the veterans starting with Bron and the youth coming off the bench as a very good thing.

Interesting fan reaction to the start of the season..... Ball and Hart should be our starting backcourt it seems. Moe is being seen as the solution to the center issues as well. I'm not seeing it now that we have an aging superstar. The vets are here to stabilize the team. I see us getting more of them as we move forward unless one of the youth really take a jump.

This happened a lot last year too. I think the party is over for Luke. Every move is going to be looked at in every game now that the spotlight is on the team.

I didn't see the second half of game one so I didn't see his play. He and Kuzma seemed overly "amped" at game time and both were missing shots they typically make because of it.

Harden will go to the line a hundred times but we will crush them, win by 15-20. Yes, humiliate them.

KCP and Hart will both light it up.

Staples will erupt in ‘MVP’ after his first dunk!

We will need to rebound better and keep the guards fresh on defense.

The key tonight will be the freethrow line, if Harden lives there the Rockets will control the game but if LeBron and others can get there more than 10 time it means we're controlling the game. I suspect KCP will draw Harden, but the way to stop or limit a scores effectiveness is to make him work on the defensive end.

KCP has to find his offense if not Hart will serve as a better option for more minutes.

And please will everybody get off the "jumper shooting" drama...it will work itself out, the Lakers have guys that can get theirs off the dribble and don't have to depend on the jumper alone to score like Bron's last teammates. The problem is knowing when to take a jumper or put it on the floor and draw contact or create for another teammate.

Game wise...we gotta rebound better, keep the TO's down and get to the damn line, and look for the 3 off of making the Rockets work on defense which is a question mark for them right now.

Between LeBron (Riley) and Magic, this squad will undoubtedly know that rebounding wins rings. Once Lonzo starts, we have five starters who can post 10 rebounds on any given night.

I can’t wait until tonight’s game.
LBJs home debut.
Our young guns will be eager to show Staples that they got game and belong with LBJ.
The old vets are also going to be hyped.

Playing against the beard and CP and Melo.
Can it get any better than that?
Yeah! How about a W!

Let’s go Lakers

Let’s see some showtime. This is a squad full of people who can go red hot on any given night. And then there will be nights when many of them do.

Hart has scored 20+ in his last five regular season games.

LBJ
Ingram
Kuzma
Hart
KCP
Lonzo (very soon this will be reality)
(McGee)
(Rondo)

All capable of putting up a 20+ night. As a team at times, they’ll go off the charts red hot.

It’s all about the defense and rebounding.
