Re: Butler has requested a trade, the saga continues
I liked a package around Richardson and Whiteside if it was available. We should continue to explore trades as time goes on.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Nothing wrong with middling In this era tbh
Donovan Mitchell pick 13
Malcolm brogdan pick 36
Devin booker pick 13
Bobby Portis pick 22
Josh Richardson pick 40
Giannis pick 15
You don’t have to completely tank hard to be good any more. The elite all stars or strong glue guys are falling through the cracks into the later picks.
Devin booker is a glue guy? Because I have hard time thinking he is an elite all star.
I said elite all star to strong glue guys... Devin booker falls somewhere between which is a good thing.

Of any reason, I'd have to rate it behind:
1) Location. (Miami is so much sexier for a young, heterosexual, single male and it's not even close.)
2) Location. (Miami is so much better for something called personal income tax, which they have none.)
3) Location. (The weather. First time I ever seen a 'power auger' commercial was watching the twolves stream.)
4) Location. (Minnesota is a bad NBA town.) Maybe it's a chicken or egg situation. Both are true. Just saying....
Im sure thats why the vikings are clearly worse than the Dolphins, right?

Woelfel has been dismissed on the Trade Board as a fake source, as opposed to Marc Stein and many others who reported Dion Waiters’ bad contract (3 years, $36 mil) was included for us to eat.
Unfortunate, because this is the exact same trade ifrosty and I arrived at a few days ago. It isn’t an offer I would love, but I think it’s fair.

I wouldn't. Neither richardson or olynyk are game changers. We needed something like bam or an unprotected pick in the package for at least a chance to get one. Also adding olynyk helps the heat unload salary while we add on more.

Ugh, that's a trade to keep you out of the playoffs for a long, long time in the west, if you're in the east you'd probably be fine. Downgrading from Butler to Richardson and then adding a rotation player makes this team way worse in the long run.
Teague/Tyus, Wiggins, Richardson, Olynyk, Towns is not a playoff team this year or next year and I don't know how you acquire the talent to become a playoff team with the middle of the road assets or little amount of money you'd have available. You guys really need to think about how good/bad the long term outlook is after Butler is traded.
It's interesting how little Minnesota fans want for an all-nba player when this franchise hasn't had the ability to really ever acquire one through a trade, it's hard enough for anyone to acquire an all-nba player let alone a smaller market team.
The trade is a difference of being in the running of being a playoff team and with some growth of the youth being a contender vs being a non playoff team with no real chance of being a contender. The big picture needs to be looked at.
If you want a Josh Richardson type talent, go trade for Kent Bazemore, he is 4 years older then Richardson but won't cost you an all-nba player.

Well, I can tell you the Vikings are clearly worse than da Bears. Not sure what that has to do with anything, though. What you said is apples and oranges. Not sure where to even start. So I won't. Peace!

Olynyk can´t guard most of the PF´s in the current NBA. I would just bring him if Dieng was traded with Miami first round pick and I would still demand one more asset from Miami.

Lucky you and I weren't in charge. After watching Jimmy again for just two games I can see how ridiculous that would have been. I'm leaving this to the better basketball mind Tom Thibodeau.

I would have taken that supposed offer at the time as long as something was worked out to move Gorgui. The reason is I am so tired of all this. I love Jimmy, but it seems we are going to trade him before the deadline anyway.

Can someone clue me in on why Jimmy took the night off. Is he going to retire his Wolves era after that previous great statistical Cleveland game?

This would be as ideal as possible...Ingram with Wiggins and Towns would set us at the 2,3,4 for years...find a solid 3 and D point guard and a rebounding, shot blocking center that they would be set.

They refused to trade Ingram for Kawhi, so likely not.

It truly shocks me that anyone would want to bring the temperamental Hassan Whiteside (who makes $24.5 and $27.1) into our current locker room, and have him displace KAT as our center.
This is a lack of awareness of character, the changes in the nba game at center, and the economics of the current nba.

Re: Butler has requested a trade, the saga continues
The more I think about it, the more I like this trade. Though I don't know if it is allowed financially
MIN: Richardson, Whiteside, Winslow
MIA: Dieng, Butler
We get rim protector, and so much needed depth at wings. I don't want FRP if we get Winslow, I prefer role players on good contracts. I really don't see Gibson as our starting PF next season, even as backup PF he is very limited. As well as I understand KAT already plays stretch PF role these three games of the season. I think he can co-exists with 25 minutes Whiteside at C.
Whiteside/KAT
KAT/AT/Gibson/Deng
Richardson/Winslow/KBD
Wiggins/Winslow/Okogie/Nunnally
Teague/Rose/Tyus
MIN: Richardson, Whiteside, Winslow
MIA: Dieng, Butler
