The Amazingly Sucky Scotty Brooks Thread
Seven million dollars a year and you cannot figure out what I believe is the best lineup.
Oubre starts with Porter. Porter at PF=faster Otto.
Porter is a far better player than Morris or Green. IDIOT.
That's all.

Boggles the mind. Oubre starting with Otto makes us more dynamic, athletic, and helps Oubre not try to do too much.

Re: Dear Idiot Coach
Whoops. One more thing: Remember Everybody Eats?
Please, quit blocking. Scott Brooks, Satoransky was balling then and he's a better player than Doc Rivers' son. Satoransky deserves better than the likes of you as coach. To not play him over an add on player is something you should be fired for IMO.
Likewise, McCrae over Brown?
Seven million dollars wasted. You and Ernie both need to be fishing.

McCrae “should” be playing over Rivers but there aren’t enough activation slots

It makes even more sense with Howard out. Essentially, we move Morris from starting PF to backup C and bump Jason Smith from the rotation:
PG Wall/Sato
SG Beal/Rivers
SF Oubre/Brown
PF Porter/Green
C Mahinmi/Morris
And as we all seem to acknowledge, Sato should be playing more minutes than Rivers. Rivers is fine as the 4th guard who can create in isolation when neither Wall nor Beal are on the floor, but Rivers should be playing 10 minutes a game and Sato 20, not vice versa. Heck, I'd let Sato steal some more minutes at SF and get him up to 28 minutes a game.

How about there should be NO Rivers on the team? That way Satoransky, the veteran who's EARNED playing time in a contract year, would by incentive show LEADERSHIP to both BROWN AND MCRAE.
Zero nepotism minutes awarded by the sucky coach!
The Wizards do not understand GOOD FAITH, FAIRNESS, THE PAYOFF OF COMMITMENT and GOOD ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT. It's downright disrespectful and humiliating and disloyal to bench Satoransky or Porter ANY MINUTES for the likes of Rivers and Green. If you bring in Green then MORRIS IS THE ONE TO GO.
The Wizards are sitting at 0-2 with a festering, resentful group of players. Why? Brooks is a dunderhead and Grunfeld is so entitled that he's been secure though he sucks even more for YEARS. They've got three talents and A LOCK ON MEDIOCRITY. Too dumb to see Brooklyn recover from HORRENDOUS MOVES (the picks they gave up for old ass KG and Pierce). They've reloaded and are on par with the Wizards already. Thanks to EG for handing them a C and taking a gunner off their hands.
The Magic have also drafted a future star. They're making steady progress while NOT OVERPAYING "stars".
McCrae is a player I root for. He and Robinson can ball. That's not the issue. Drafting Brown in round one and sitting him now makes little sense to me, though he's going to be okay just like Porter and to a lesser extent Oubre (Brown might be the better player by a bit in the long run. Too early).
OUBRE should be starting.
This team is mind boggling at the top. GM and coach. Mindlessly mind boggling ineptitude.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Smith in the starting lineup. Figured it would have been the perfect opportunity to go with the small ball lineup out of the gate.

I don't want to hope for anyone to get hurt, but the only hope is that a combination of injuries and losing forces Brooks to play the most effective team/rotation, as it did last year during "everybody eats."
